thank the City Slickers for that one, theres a reason the Founders implemented the Electoral College, if it was based off Popular Vote then Farmer Jenkins in Nebraska, who works hard on his wheat field the keep the country fed, wouldn't have a voice in any political movements, they'd be irrelevant to politicians

Pack it up, it's over. Even their pet minorities aren't voting, so the dead/illegals will have to make up the difference.

While I like the Electoral College that seems like more of a happy consequence of the EC than an actual intention. The federalists imposed the EC and they were all about big urban cities and opposed states rights, it was the antifederalists who wanted a pure popular vote, and at the time they typically represented rural states in the south.
 
Holy fuck this thread was a beast to catch up on. I early voted Friday in my bug hive district and I really felt like I had to hide my ballot as much as possible because I voted straight red. I'm a registered dem so it will show as a blue vote. That said today is going to be entertaining. Either we're gonna get WW3 or a civil war.
