It dawned on me today that if Trump gets a 2nd term, he's going to be infinitely harder to obstruct that during his first term.

I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I've read stories about when Josef Stalin had a stroke and was lying comatose in a puddle of urine, the head of his secret police, Lavrentiy Baria, hovered over his body while hurling insults at what he thought was a dead dictator. In the middle of his rant, Stalin's eyes shot open and started staring back at Baria. Baria went into a total panic and fell to his knees, weeping and begging for forgiveness for what he had just said. Shortly after, Stalin's eyes closed and he went back to being a vegetable. Baria dusted off his slacks and went right back to talking shit.

If Stalin had survived and was able to remember what happened around him while in his coma, he would have been in a similar position that Trump is now. For about a year, everyone that wasn't a Trump supporter thought he was functionally dead. He was in a political position that was 100x worse than what any normal politician could ever recover from, and while he was down, all the people that had kissed his ring for years pulled out their knives and started stabbing.

He knew who his enemies were on the left when things started, but now he's had the luxury of watching a surprising number of of his allies betray him. I'd be surprised if he didn't keep a list, and figuratively collecting their heads is probably very high on his list of priorities. Imagine Caesar just turned around like nothing happened, yanked the knife out of his back, and rammed it right into Brutus' stomach.

Oh he absolutely has a List. He’s connected to people that are connected to people that have been very deligent in their list keeping.

The question is whether he’ll make use of it.

That and if there will be people in his own administration acting as obstacles or backstabbing him as seen during his first term in office. At the very least he'll probably be more skeptical and potentially wary compared to then when it comes to selecting individuals to be in key positions one would think.

One thing about the Biden admin pushing so hard for more Ukraine funding (well, other than the fact that it's a money spigot for his family and fellow travelers, and the MIC) is possibly because of how unpredictable that would be for the election if Russia wins before then. Trump would lambast him for backing a loser and pointlessly drawing out the bleeding of the Ukrainians.

On the other hand, the MSM would just start trotting out fearmongering of the threat now posed by Trump's friend Putin, since about half your country still believe the Russian Hoax was true, so who knows how it would play out on election day.

A littler PL anecdote. I was in a pub a couple of days ago, and Trump came up and everyone was certain he wouldn't be eligible for election if found guilty on any of these charges. I told them that was not necessarily true, and mentioned DuBois. One guy was an American and he got pretty mad, saying that "I know nothing about his country, and Trump was definitely going to be off the ballot." All the Canadians there agreed. I'm really looking forward to the salt if/when they are proven wrong. All these fuckers just insist things are true simply because they want them to be true.

One must wonder how long the conflict in Gaza will go on. Trump is very much pro-Israel yes but he doesn't depend upon Muslim and Arab immigrant votes like Biden has to as a Democrat.

They're not a huge electorate in the grand scheme of things but like how the biggest minority historically (African Americans) have been gradually outnumbered by Hispanics over the past few decades (40 to 60 million), at this point more Muslims are in the country then there are American Indians (2.694 million to 3.45 million).

I have a theory that while Trump is a hardcore zionist.

Zion Don believes Israel should coexist with its neighbors and made efforts towards that.

However it seems like when Bibi came back into office, he first sent his congrats to Biden and has other ideas like unironically expanding Israel, whether or not if October 7th happen as there are past statements by Bibi on wanting a full blown one state solution.

The zionists don't like Trump compared to how much Trump like Israel, because it seems Trump didn't get the insider memo, the goal isn't to protect Israel but to expand it like we saw with the attempt to remove Assad in Syria through ISIS glowniggers.

Trump definitely believes in the Zionist cause but at the very least he has shown in the past he is willing to criticize Netanyahu and liberal American Jews. There is a chance he is slightly more ambivalent now when it comes to Israel then he was during 2016-2020 when he was in office and doing stuff like moving the United States embassy to Jerusalem. He has definitely done more then a lot of American politicians who are in the pro-Zionist camp who wouldn't even dare to say the things he said.

Didn't he try to fuck a fourteen year old girl or something?

I vaguely remember him getting outed as a sex post as politicians tend to do.
He was acquitted and then sued for defamation, which is an incredibly high bar to clear for a pubic figure, and he won.

edit: I shouldn't say acquitted, since it never went trial, since there wasn't even circumstantial evidence.

On the other hand, the DNC and their ilk/fellow travelers are probably equally likely to go full Samson in the Temple keep Trump from being sworn in/doing anything.

If they take back the House, expect a thousand of bullshit investigations if not straight up impeachment attempts right away combined with open insubordination, assassination attempts (since I'm sure the left will go "fuck it" at that point), and trying to start as many race riots/anti-trump riots so that when Trump invokes the National Guard to stop them, the anti-Trump forces in the military higher ups will turn traitor and instigate a coup against Trump because "fuck you, I care not about the constitution and only getting a cushy do nothing civilian job when I retire that's why".

This has to be a deliberate joke by someone in his staff, or he has a humiliation fetish. This is a greenscreen response he did for a judge in FL since he won't visit his state unless there's a storm.

Omg, fuck that meanie Trump! I love DeSantis now. I just wanna scoop him up like a kitten and let him ride on my shoulder so he can feel like a big boy. Look at our little Hobbit in his cute, gray Oshkosh suit, sitting at daddy's big desk! So adorable!

I heard Judge Jewdy the Jewess endorsed street shitting curry nigger Nikki Failey. It's convinced me to switch my vote to Nikki "Girl Boss" Haley. That's the kind of leadership we need.

Said no one ever.

It must have been some cringey shit. lol

Russia wont "win" by November. Winning being Kiev conceding the loss of territories and a giving commitment to not join NATO. Barring either a massive collapse by the Ukranian armed forces or Russia going beserk and fully mobilising and stopping caring about civillian infrastructure and lives. I.e. going total war rather than "Special Military Operation". Which Russia wont do. So realistically expect to see the war continue to grind on into 2025. Something could theoretically change but the biggest thing that might would be a policy change enacted by Trump that brought Kiev and Russia to the table. (I say Kiev rather than Ukraine, btw, because this is after all a civil war that Russia has intervened in with many Ukranians on Russia's side as well).

I guess the more realistic questions are if anything will change that at least shows the Russia is winning more clearly to the electorate or if Europe starts to swing around more to be against the war and stops just being America's cheerleaders. Russia may well have complete control of Donetsk and Luhansk by the time of the election. Avdiivka may well have fallen which will be a major political blow to Zelensky. But I think the war will continue to go in Russia's favour and this will be more of a factor in giving Trump ammunition to use against Biden than being an outright "Russia has won". Because of the political implications I think the Biden admin will continue to burn money on Ukraine to avoid Trump being able to say exactly that. But it's a lose-lose. They don't burn the money, Trump points at the collapse of Ukraine. They do the burn money, Trump points at them throwing billions at a lost cause. Either way he will be right.

What I more sort of hope, is that Russia will by that point be in such a strong position militarily that Trump will have the leeway to negotiate an actual lasting peace - for which Ukraine must agree to neutrality and concede loss of territories. If Russia isn't much advanced from where they are now, then Trump may not be able to do that without being accused of being weak. The nightmare scenario is if, faced with an imminent Trump victory and the prospect of peace in Eastern Europe, the Biden administration queers the pitch and decides to send troops directly into the Ukraine to fight Russia. Or gives Ukranians long-range missiles which we absolutely know they would immediately launch into downtown Moscow. Basically, flips the table and makes peace impossible for Trump to negotiate.
