Europeans can be disliked for quite a few things but being better at conquest then the locals in many places isn't some grand insult. It's not like grand eternal peace in these places before they arrived, they were just more effective at making war. Furthermore it can be argued colonization brought the benefits of modern civilization to then remote parts of the world in the form of electricity, modern infrastructure (for the time) and technology.

It is sad though that quite a few countries in Europe allow themselves to be conquered without a shot being fired by people who have incompatible cultural values with the majority of the national population. The blood shed at Covadonga, Tours, Malta and Vienna means nothing if politicians betray their own people for foolish economic reasons and legislate a foreigner filled dystopia into existence that would of been impossible to conceive of just a few decades ago.

This news is only just beginning to break into the broader online right-wing pundit sphere (they got it from Johnson here) and hasn't gotten any longer articles written about it yet even in online right-wing outlets like Salem Media's Redstate & Townhall, but it would be in line with the expressed wishes of DeSantis & the Florida GOP to lash back at Newsom for his efforts to (even more heavily) gerrymander California - one of the key targets Johnson said they're looking at for redistricting, Palm Beach's District 20, was previously highlighted as one of the most likely places where such an effort would start. Aside from FL Ohio, Indiana & Missouri are some of the other red states said to be considering heavy redistricting in favor of the Republicans ahead of next year's midterms, as well.

I've been paying close attention to this. As a Catholic, I'm deeply conflicted. On the one hand, that faggot killed the most vulnerable of my people while they were performing a sacred rite. on the other hand, this is, like, the defining case of an insidious problem rearing its ugly head. Christ died for us; it's not on these children to suffer for redemption. But if anything could bring this problem to light in a huge way, it's this. I truly hope that massive attention is brought to this incident in particular, but I also hope that it never happens again.
