I want a funko collection line for Hugos Adventure. Collect Hugo, Penople, Dog and clipart haunted house.

I hate that nerds are cool now. Nerds suck (being a sperg with no identity outside of animu/vidya/etc. is nothing to aspire to), and most of them aren't that smart either. They should aspire to be normal smart people instead of the other way around.

I love the fallout when you call these people out on what they really are like RLM did to Stuckman from Collider. You end up with a 6 minute video of a grown man crying, pissing and moaning. "I'm not upset, I'm not mad" then proceeds to make a 6 minute bitching video.

I understood so little of this it might as well have been in Mandarin. Amazing how incestuous and up their own asses these "communities" get.

Either that or I'm just a tard. Though I guess "Why not both" would be a legit response as well.

I have a lot of these guys at my college. I don't try to interact or whatever, but if they're in my personal space talking about something I myself am interested in, I'll start a conversation. Eight times out of ten, they don't even have a surface knowledge of what they're talking about, and it makes me question life. Like, okay, I'll give an example here of a conversation I had this morning.

So, the guy is talking to his friend about Harry Potter, because it's the most basic entryway "geek" thing you can know about (also Tumblr). They're by me, and they have an argument on whether Hagrid was gay. I don't know why, but sure, fine. They turn and ask me to tiebreak for them, and I talk about how he had the hots for that one headmistress in the fourth book. I kid you not, the guy looks at me and says, with no hint of sarcasm, "There are BOOKS?"

I just don't understand. Please help me understand.

Man this thread is literally a dumping for all the cringe I've seen and bitched about for the last 15 years. This video sums up just about everything I hate with "nerd" culture. It's so cringe worthy right down to The Big Bang reference, auto-tuning and Potter Fag pandering. All of these guys sound like they are huge faggots with lisps that could kill. I imagine each one having their hands on their hips in such a bitchy fashion every time they open their mouths.

Who could forget their most well known gem? This thing is like a living Kotaku music video.

Remember our high school's "Geek Club"?
Once I get off work we could have stories to share.
Like the time they tried to make a huge debate if Marvel was Better than DC or Star Wars vs Star Trek.
I guess we can tell our stories in chronilogical order

Fake fucks probably don't even collect dead CCG's or own a single issue of Plastic-Man or wake up crying in the night and not know why.

I don't understand Funko Pops. They have them for many regular franchises, like Lost, so the market is I guess "nerds that like nerd stuff and other stuff too"? And are there that many people that want one of Dolores Umbridge? And why? My Barnes & Noble has several of those, even it's a purposely unlikeable character last seen in movies that are several years old now, like that's something people will want to buy at the mall...
I saw some image that said something like "why do Americans have a fundamental misunderstanding of cute?" with this: tl;dr: REEEEEEEEE NORMIES
You think that’s bad? You think that’s bad?!
