How the hell is it that the Republican candidate for Governor can win, but the candidate for Senate can't?
Arizona's still suffering from Stockholm Syndrome thanks to McCain's influence. I also think there's still too many bleeding hearts who wanted to keep him in just because Gabrielle Giffords survived an assassination attempt albeit at the cost of her brain functionality.

I was more invested in the gubernatorial anyway since the senate race was gonna go to the hobgoblin regardless. I honestly couldn't tell you a thing about Blake Masters and what he was standing for, I just know the attack ads were all cringe. However, Kari Lake is more legit and she scares the crap out of the elite more-so than him, so I'm willing to believe not all of her votes included being fully down-ballot red.

The GOPe should realize that the Rino war hawk era of republicans is long done for after Bush left office. They need to start building voter bases in the Hispanic communities to combat the college educated white women. The populist "maga" era is what brought more people into being conservatives. The worst thing you can do in 2024 is spitting the base & losing 2024 like how Taft lost his re-election. The GOPe should also realize there's no olive branches that will be made so why bother attempting, Sam Hyde said it best.

I think you're rather charitably assuming the GOPe are simply out of touch and not immensely corrupt, controlled opposition.

I don't think the GOPe are capable of splitting the base. They have no real coalition. If they want to co-opt DeSantis to combat Trump more than likely all this will accomplish is destroying DeSantis. Same with Youngkin or RINO Tim Scott if DeSantis doesn't bite

This is clearly the fault of the Republicans not listening to Kiwi Farms enough. This is a very important demographic.
You people are fucking retarded.
I mean doing "Owning the libs" videos in 2022 did a bang up job for the red wave. Dumbass. The neocon shit is played out. Republicans lost '08-'12 back to back.

unfortunately pushing Romney & Pence Rinos on the ticket will effectively kill any chance of a Republican president for the next generation.

There were voting ballot "problems" in key states. I am completely, thoroughly disgusted.

Shouldn't be a surprise if after 2020, the Democrats may "never lose" an election again - at least in "blue" and "swing" states.

I like how different countries have different styles of election fraud. In Russia, the pro-government candidates challenge opposition candidate's signatures and get them disqualified from running at all. But that looks bad to us Americans, so our establishment just turns Election Day into Election Month, carefully counts the number of votes they need to win, and then finds boxes and boxes of ballots.

Note that they've always done this, you can find stories from decades ago of the vote being counted, the political machine candidate being down, so a ballot box would go missing and come back stuff full of extra ballots. But this would be on the night of the election, since even notorious political machines didn't do shit as transparently shady as taking a week to count the vote, even if they did have thousands of dead voters.

At this point I'm wondering if Democrats will steal the House too. You'd have to be insane to think the Democrats will let all those Republicans who seem to have won in California actually win. Not sure if they'll steal Lauren Boebert's race either with how close it is and how much they hate her. So it's still very possible to have a slight Democrat majority in the House, assuming California's got a good election fraud machine (they have many illegals who vote, but there might not be the infrastructure we see in swing states).

Of course Hochul won NY because of NYC (and some other counties upstate). People in this state never fucking learn.

Because people like Republican policies like low taxes and not castrating kids but dislike Trump's insane antics and the wild, dumb election conspiracy theories you see on this very thread.

The GOP's job is to 'lose with dignity' and be a 4 year pressure release valve for when the dems overstep.

So this means they're going to potentially elect Kari Lake, who has been described as a female Trump, the second coming of Trump and Trump's natural successor, and who repeatedly advanced that the 2020 Presidential election was stolen, and made it a centrepiece of her campaign?

Stunning logic there, faggot

Because the Democrats want the Senate seat more than the governorship so that's the race they're focused on fixing.
It was split here in WI too but flipped: Dem governor and Repub senator (Evers and Johnson). You don't have to vote one party downballot. The fact that shyster Barnes got as close as he did to unseat Johnson is concerning and the abortion issue played a large part in that imo (plus they pulled out a last minute Me Too ad campaign to smear Michels to add on to their over-the-top abortion ad replete with cops coming to arrest your kid/abortion provider - with sirens and lights and everything!! Scary!)

The milk hasn't run dry yet.
