Alright. Senate hopes for Republicans are pretty bad since it looks like Nevada is about to flip, but there still is a lot of red that is holding back and Washoe and Clark are almost done. Laxalt could still win it narrowly. However, at this point I agree 50/50 is likely what's gonna happen. Or even 51/49 depending on how Georgia comes out but I'm still optimistic there.

Laxalt is losing the lead slowly in Nevada.

If AZ and NV are lost, GA is done.

Its the same repeat of 2020 when the average Trump voter will be like, fuck this.
Yeah it’s very demoralizing if that happens. The only saving grace at that point is Kari Lake who looks like she’ll win.

Well looks like they are going to gain the Senate legitimately. The only way I will ever trust elections or have hopes for them again is in the fantasy land where they end COVID-era policies nationwide and act transparent again. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise however since vooting and believing it is somewhat legitimate was one of the last things holding this nation together.

I have seen the national divorce idea floated but overall.

It just seems like the uniparty gerentocracy is going to burn everything to the ground.

Yeah, if my political theory on great change happens when the political class of a nation sees themselves as untouchable and above the law we are about due for an inevitable change. My only fear isn't if there will be violence, but how much violence.

We have two modern baselines.

The Taliban in Afghanistan resisting through guerrilla warfare against Uncle Sam.

Or the people of the Donbass and Lugansk Republics starting up their own militias in response to Maidan.

Wow. That's what we call legitimate now? Mexico has cleaner elections now. What a world!

I place the blame for this mess in the hands of the GOP. They had two years to do something about this shit and they did nothing, and low and behold! Democrats magically stretch the election out and begin pulling ballots out of their asses. Only bright side to this is if we gain the House, we can gridlock until 2024 where the same shit will probably just happen again. GOP needs to take a long, hard look at Virginia and start taking notes about how they did there. Also, can't say this enough, do not give on Georgia. Now's the time to push people to vote there even harder. If you know someone who didn't vote, or are libertarian, tell them the what for.

Edit: Saving graces though. Looks like Lombardo and Lake will take the governorships. That's something at least. Lake is still up in the air though. Lombardo should do what he can to make sure what's going on in Nevada never happens again.

The governorships are what's most important here. DeSantis won Governor in Florida, fixed the fraud and, surprise surprise, the state is now almost blood red.

The Senate candidates can always try again

Atleast it happened on a Friday evening so that by Monday it will be old news (even if votes are still being counted).

I hope Kari wins, she’s a great speaker and someone you can take seriously. Not many female candidates like her.

But I don’t want to be a Talibani or a slavnigger. I just want to do my singing and cooking videos.
