The way you do something about it post hoc is by passing laws explicitly stating that ballots which don't have chain of custody, were collected without watchers present, etc, aren't valid and must be removed from the total. But of course, passing such a law would be fought viciously by the Democrats, and you've seen how unwilling Republicans are even to pass laws requiring identification to vote in states where they don't already run the table every election.

The mail-out ballots have changed the game in states that have them. It's not just about getting people to vote for you. It's now a game of going out to get people's ballots and the Dem's are way better at doing that than Reps. Not even suggesting wrongdoing, but organising to go out to ensure you get a ballot from someone who otherwise wouldn't have voted.

It's not just that Democrats are better at it than Republicans, it's that Democrat voters are concentrated in high-density cities, and ballot harvesting comes down to who can afford to send out the harvesters. It isn't even affordable for Republicans to do what Democrats do, so the new ballot harvesting method of voting simply means that whoever has the urban vote has a 10:1 vote per dollar advantage.

The indoctrination of young people to be team Democrat is starting to pay off big time.

Yep - Republicans thought they could let Democrats run schools, even in red states, not lift a finger, and DURRR ONCE THOSE KIDS PAY TAXES would kick in.

Look at how divided they are though. The right to healthcare barely passed by less than 1% same with the gun law. I don’t know. At this point I’m weighing my options to either move to another state or just saying fuck America and moving to Mexico with my relatives. Oregon over the years has become so fucked up and corrupt because of Portland and Salem and Eugene that I’ve just become a nihilist every election. The people here are just dumb. They keep thinking they’ll get golden roads served on a silver platter and they’ll work as animators or cushy jobs but it’s filthy capitalists standing in the way. They’re just dumb.
