Whether it’s a conscious effort or not, I suspect this has gradually become the endgame for Democrats over the past decade or two in their efforts to make themselves incapable of being voted out of power. They have the opportunity to silence their opposition through legal means through control of all major cultural institutions, but evidently it only works by whipping their constituents into a perpetual frenzy and polarizing the country further. This isn’t even a consequence of the 2016 election either, it’s been going on since at least Obama’s second term.
Not a disagreement, just commentary. It would make sense, as fear is a pretty motivating factor. I think Jordan Peterson said - back when he was still doing fun things like explaining the psychology behind Pinocchio - that if you want someone to do something, giving them a carrot ($2000) is a good motivator, giving them a stick (Kangaroo Courts) is an even better motivator, and giving them both at the same time (Clown World) is the best of all.

The problem with this plan of training people to think with their fear muscle is... What happens when they begin to fear their trainers more than they fear the boogeyman? What happens when people realize "Hey, the only person I've ever seen in a klan hood is Ralph Northam and he has no power in this state, but the local autozone is on fire again"?

This is like the Gellman Amnesia Effect. Or like that movie 2012, where after the second time the protagonists live through CGI catastrophe, it's hard to look at the remaining runtime and give a fuck about the next life or death situation.

Fear is a powerful thing, it produces results, and often people just ignore a moment of clarity and return to being NPCs. But then once someone wakes up for real and realizes what they've been doing, how do you ever go back? What happens when they lose their ability to feel fear, or they realize that there is something even more terrifying?

I might be talking about the pathos roller coaster, but I'm thinking about the left that I used to believe in, and how I'll never see them the same way again. Even when they pretend to remember their old talking points, it's clearly only a temporary thing.

Seeing their true nature sucks, but I guess it's less demeaning than living in blissful ignorance.

Someone explain to me this rubbish about how young voters somehow salvaged the Left this election because I don't buy it at all regardless of whatever data you shove in front of me. We're talking about the same group of people that has historically demonstrated a poor showing when it comes to midterm elections. Nor do I understand how certain posters here have claimed that this group specifically was somehow motivated because of the Supreme Court's ruling regarding abortion. Again really? So you're telling me the Left somehow managed to get the one demographic unlikely to even vote for a midterm election to vote for them on a single issue despite all their obvious failures? I don't buy it.

Boebert is closing the gap. Hopefully our lolcow congresswoman stays in office so we can laugh at her longer.

I am extremely excited for the fallout from this election. All of these crypt creatures that the Democrats pushed onto their voters and who were elected without thought are going to feed me in the coming months as they each prove to be complete failures.

The GOP ghouls are gonna deliver, too.

73% OF AMERICANS THINK THE COUNTRY IS GOING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION AND THEY VOTED DEMOCRAT?

It was a late and disappointing night as the election results came in.
I remember most elections revealed results that got wrapped up before midnight. Now they get delayed for days and even weeks due to mail-in ballots and runoffs.
We need to return to paper ballots being filled out in person at polling stations. Jettison the voting machines, which are easily hacked. Limit mail-in ballots to invalids. We need to eliminate ballot harvesting and drop boxes in particular. Voting by mail opens up a wide avenue that leads to fraud.

f people want to keep voting in the same Democrats who bring us inflation, war, open borders, and crime, then that’s their prerogative.

We simply need to know that the election was legitimate and not stolen. Right now we can’t be sure.

Thanks to Ron DeSantis, Florida has their voting process operating in tip-top shape. That state wrapped thing up within a few hours after the polls closed. Why can’t every state do that? Arizona is particularly egregious with their obfuscation.

DeSantis won in a landslide and he deserved it. He got a lot done and he’s also a viable presidential candidate in 2024. Trump might find himself in a serious race for the Republican nomination. Florida was one of few states in which there was a legitimately strong red wave. Other states were disappointing. While the Republicans may gain an advantage in the House, it looks like the Senate will be close to deadlocked.

Fetterman won is replacing a Republican. It’s hard for me to believe that a majority of voters in Pennsylvania can send a man who wants more crime, more inflation, more open borders, more aborting, and more war to the Senate. Especially when he can barely function. He will be managed by handlers, similar to Biden.

Look for Biden to take credit for a better than expected Democrat showing. He will use it as an excuse to run again in 2024. With Fetterman, strokes be damned. With Biden, dementia be damned. They’re going to be in office regardless.

So there you have it. Either many of the elections were rigged, or Americans really don’t care about inflation. It’s not about ‘the economy, stupid’ after all. It’s about stupid voters robotically voting for more of the same policies that will bring them harm.

— Ben Garrison

Trump endorsed candidates have 174 wins and only 9 losses which in my opinion isn’t bad considering that the 2022 midterms were one of the most rigged elections in history.

The Republications look to take the House leading 203 to the Democrats 187. (219 need to control the House.) The Senate is deadlocked 48-48 as of this posts publishing. Much, much more in store as Kari Lake in Arizona starts to surge.

The level of salt she produces makes her worth it in its own merit but it helps that she's one of the few members of Congress who is nice to look at.

Have you seen the teachers in this country for the last 6 years?

First, Trump has no grounds to send DeSantis any kind of message. DeSantis just won the largest victory against any democrat opponent anywhere in the Union. He flipped Miami, a county Clinton carried by like 16 points against Trump. Someone ought to put a bug in Orange Man's ear to let him know he's taking shots at his own and he should calm the fuck down.
The message is not for Desantis, it's for the establishment Republicans in DeSantis' ear trying to foment a republican civil war.
The left calls any republican Literally Hitler. They don't treat any republican with the same level of hatred they treat Donald Trump. If you think otherwise, then you don't know what you're talking about.
They have increasingly escalated their tactics with every Republican since Bush.
Trump added 3 supreme court justices who got Roe v. Wade right, and hasn't ruled Affirmative Action unconstitutional yet. This is the same Supreme Court that completely refused to do anything in the face of the Stolen Election or the admitted to "Election Fortifications".
That's because the constitution clearly states that elections are the realm of the states. They aren't going to intervene, nor should they. That is for state courts to rule, as frustrating as it may be.
Trump was good for four years, but he's ineffective as a legacy candidate and at this point being equally as harmful to his own people as to the enemy. He's running out of usefulness and short of the weird cult that follows him, its plain as day to see for everyone else.
Trump is by no means perfect but i don't understand how you can argue both that there was election fuckery and that Trump is an ineffective candidate.

I like and would vote for Ron DeSantis, but it's Trump's time. He can't run for another term after that, and gives Republicans 2 viable presidential candidates instead of one.

I think otherwise because I'm older than you and I remember the treatment of Reagan and both Bushes. The reason the insanity might seem worse against Trump is 1) the left didn't use to have as tight as chokehold on the corporate press 2) people are more unhinged and standards are lower and 3) social media put this all in everyone's face all of the time. Kathy Griffin's decapitation pic, for example, was standard imagery used at protests against Reagan and Bush and Bush 2.0 policy. But you would only see it if you were at the protest because the papers wouldn't run pictures of it.

If Trump were to run who would be his vice president? It can't be Pence or an establishment Republican, Gabbard could get simp votes but she's just in for the grift.

One of the more absurd bits I'm seeing about all this is how Trump is "done", while Ron DeSantis, a person who only started to become politically prominent after copying Trump's homework and being endorsed by Trump, is the new Republican lightning rod of political energy.

This is an almost transparent attempt by the GOPe to manufacture a division between populist Republicans, and the worst part is that it actually seems to be working.

This is a friendly reminder to go bully a libertarian today

As crazy as this sounds, one of the most, if not the most, popular "political" radio shows local is technically Libertarian. I wouldn't be surprised if that were a small reason for that increase. To be honest, it probably saved us from Warnock outright winning, at least I hope that's the case.

I think you're really underestimating how many people in their mid-20s and below have decided to make politics their life and only personality trait.

You're the one making the claim, you prove it in court. This whole "the elections are rigged when republicans lose!" schtick is fucking retarded cope.
Nahhh. I just sit here noticing the obvious signs of fraud while you seethe and dilate because no one pays attention to your cucked "seriously guise, it waz all legit!" Bullshit.

Fuck off glowie.

if NV and AZ gov both flip red this election has done all it needed to go. both will clean up their shit and make the states save red for 2024...

Several Polls breaking down the voters by age is being posted, large numbers of retards came in and voted D. Gen X "oh! you are saving us, saving Democracy!" I have to disagree, It's just something they want to push. Hell, at this point, those kids are still eating tidepods, state they are a different sex, and use ZEY/ZER pronouns, one would think the age to vote would be older.
