it also ignores that desantis is way more establishment than trump (for better or worse). trump winning you can pretty much expect what you'll get, and being his second term and then done one way or another means he doesn't need to hold back as much. meanwhile there's no guarantee that desantis will not turn out to be another lame duck slurping turtle semen - just because he fixed florida (which let's be honest could only go up), with a big push by trump?

the smart play is have trump try again in 2024, and depending how it turns out either serve as his "southern flank" or batten down the hatches, and then either get handed with the presidency with a nice endorsement in 28 or as the fixer in 32.
besides, with trump in the WH republicans can shit freely on half the nation that can't fucking elections in a single day, might spur them to get their shit in order. this would do more longterm for everyone involved than shooting his load to soon after ear-fucked by the RINOs.

The dumb thing for Desantis is they can probably keep the plate spinning for 2 more years and make sure whoever gets 2024 is in for a shit show of economic implosion. If the Dems win well Biden is used up anyways. If Trump got it its his last ride too. It will destroy Desantis and he will not get a 2nd term.

to be fair, there's also the choice of not voting at all. pretty sure PA has limits on how an election can be decided.
if the whole state says "you know what, you both suck, give us better candidates", it could lead to a much healthier outcome in the end (also much lulz).

It's funny how many were expecting a Red Wave (or even a Red Tsunami), only for a Red Splash to occur, but this election needs to be analyzed far more thoroughly than that.

Due to a combination of factors that need to be addressed, Republicans only got a win instead of a bloodbath this election cycle.

These factors are:
  • Election fraud (of course; will likely be legally challenged soon anyway, at least in Arizona [if it succeeds there])
  • Loose election vote counting rules ("early voting" in particular needs to be cracked down on hard, likely via the Supreme Court or state legislatures; mail-in voting needs to be cracked down on even harder than before)
  • Ballot harvesting (needs to be prosecuted as thoroughly as possible)
  • GOPe deliberately sabotaging more populist and Trump-endorsed Republicans by pulling funding and performing cheap political stunts (I see you, Lindsey Graham)
  • The Democrats' ability to harness the (to put it charitably) "indifferent voter" ("low-IQ drone/zombie voter" if you want to put it uncharitably)
  • The supposed "D+28" 18-29 year old voting demographic (get CRT out of schools, TikTok out of phones, and Twitter idiocy out of heads)
Anything else that should be added here?

Until someone can take a case to court and prove "election fraud" all claims of such are absolute bullshit and should be ignored. One of the reasons we didn't get a red wave is because retards keep talking about this stupid shit. The elections aren't rigged you nonces.

KS turned blue. Also this result thing may only last two days, depending on the final results of GA if there is a runoff. Remember GA has only two percent vote counting so who knows what happens.

The gop should stop sabotaging trump & his candidates. The only reason why the party even gained a large chunk of minority voters is due to trump.

GA republicans didn't do anything about the election being stolen in 2020, Raffensperger agreed to do what Stacy Abrahms wanted for ballot harvesting, and it's Trump's fault people got fed up with the two establishment GOP senators? This is revisionist history.

edit: Ace of Spades summarizes it nicely, liberal is a lifestyle brand now, and that's what white GA women want while their cuck husbands do nothing but smile. This election showed they will sacrifice their kids' education and bodies for claps from The View.
