The simple truth is I feel this election has cemented the cold civil war theory. I doubt there was much chicanery. People think this because it seems incomprehensible that anyone would vote for the ruling party given its track record of the last few years. Or that they would literally elect a man for Senate who has done absolutely nothing in his life and can't even speak a coherent sentence.

Sad truth is governing fundentals no longer matter. It's all about who supports the tribe of the voters in question. Worse, those tribal lines are now politically delineated along state lines to the point the winner can be declared before a single vote is tabulated.

This will not end well in the long run. But I see no way to stop the March of history. America's leadership class is completely out of touch, and high on its own farts.
I second this. The sides are digging in. Red states will get redder, blue states will get bluer.

It seems strange for people in this thread to actually buy the party line that "zoomers came out of the walls to defend the DNC".
Because they actually did. They are the most mindlessly susceptible to propaganda that I've ever seen.

Almost all the Gen Zers I know we're just quoting campaign ads and regurgitating stuff they read on Twitter as their reasons for voting Dem.

"X is crazy and a religious nutjob!"
"X wants to ban all abortions!"
"X is against LGBT rights!"

But when I ask them to provide ANY evidence for their claims, they either can't provide a shred of proof or just say "Because they're a Republican!" We have an entire generation of stupid, NPC programmed adult children that will vote however the talking heads and Twitter checkmark tell them. It's pathetic.

"Vote Democrat all the way down the ticket to save abortion rights!", despite abortion already being legal in their states, because they don't understand what Roe v Wade actually meant is another stupid one.

fetterman is going to be the funniest thing in the government if they let him in front of cameras again.
After the next few days, they won’t. He’ll be like Gabby Giffords and Biden, brain-dead but propped up by their spouse and the Party.

Screeching about Texas on Twitter will surely change the outcome of the election.

Burger mutts are fucking retarded.
You've got a recession, you just came out of a authoritarian pandemic lockdown that did more harm than good, a looming energy crisis, and the president talking about war with Russia, Iran, and China at the same time, and not a single incumbent lost.
There was not a single upset last night.
People are so up their own asshole that no one considers that the status quo isn't working.
Crime up 600%? Let's just vote for the people who allowed this to happen.

Maybe you don’t get it. The fraud in the past election (Wisconsin literally had ONE Republican buckle and refuse to decertify it) and the Jan. 6th arrests did their job. The whipped children in solid blue areas still voted the way they were ordered to. Why do anything different? Nothing will change.

It isn’t that the people like the shit sandwich, they are now fully convinced that if they refuse it, the other people eating the shit sandwich will turn on them for trying to get actual food.

There needs to be an actual sit down between Trump and Desantis over the week, where they say this is the ticket, no attempts at fighting, if you can't vote for this you were never serious. Don't give the RINOs any breathing room, I'm already seeing faggots like Erick Erickson rooting for the establishment GOPe to take hold after last night because "muh Brian Kemp won." Joepedo is going to run again so this is it, Trump/Desantis or we just become bugmen.

On the plus side Manchin's seat will be a GOP pickup in '24, and Montana should be looked at to easily get back (which was won in the middle of the night in '18 but people ignore that)

This is part of the problem. Retards (like you) who make sweeping generalizations without looking at the data. Blue states got redder last night. It was the purple states that didn’t become as red as they were expected to last night.

Latest take from Styx.

Unable to upload the video because its too big lol.
Timcast also added his pinch of salt about this.

Firstly there's no way the Potato actually serves.
Doesn't Matter, not the point I am making I am making a principle point.

The Voter base of PA is so stupid they will just vote blue no matter who blindly, there is no point into having an Election in PA, put two crash test dummies in PA's seat from now on because they have proven that they do not deserve self governance.

"MUH DOCTOR OZ MIGHT NOT VOTE HOW I LIKE" doesn't mean one fucking Iota of a shit when the other person can not physically do the job. If Oz votes against the DNC once that would be one vote over how many times Fetterman or his Wife will vote against the DNC's shit.

Also why bother to replace him, He will act exactly as advertised to the voter base. He will rubberstamp every little bill the DNC puts in front of him. Fuck it that is what the people of PA wanted, let them have it.

Great. Excellent. Go to California. Suck dicks under a bridge in SF. Why does EVERY state have to be like California to these people.

Go live there! It's the house you built. There's plenty of room, it takes up 3 quarters of the western continental coastline.

Just fuck off and let everybody else have a place to live how they want to live. That's what used to make this country great.

You know now that you mention it, it is really odd that a bunch of gold miners, Spaniards and Mexican slaves decided to become ultra liberal abortion crusaders.

Where did the mind virus come from?
The weather, all the lazy people who don't like dealing with weather moved to California, and the kids of the people there grew up fat and lazy, too.

They're not content with staying in Cali for the same reason cancer doesn't stay in the tumor.

I don't want DeSantis to run for President. I live in Florida, we need him here being the Watcher on the Wall.

Also I never trusted Trump. I liked what he did as president, but he always seemed like an Egotistical Billionaire, the fact that he's attacking DeSantis now because he's jealous of the coverage and the general perception that DeSantis is like Trump, but with tact just shows how shallow Trump is.

Trump is perfectly wiling to attack his best ally in the Reddest State because he doesn't like that, according to the media, some people might like DeSantis more than him.

I remember how years ago people talked about the Zoomers being the most based generation that will finally turn back the leftist tide, so far it doesn't look that.
Though I don't get how they have an impact considering they are well know to be the least reliable voters who'd waste the day smoking weed rather than go vote.

Gen Z has no one to blame when they have more issues than millennials.
Sure they do. Blame the teachers that indoctrinated them 8 hours a day while they grew up, and their minds were forming. It takes a few years and a change of environment to shake off programming.

The official red state policy on schooling is that the most radical leftists in the state should run the schools themselves, and control all the state universities, and control the state accreditation board, but income taxes will be low.

So let's start talking about how based and red pilled it is to abort low income babies

The decline in crime is considerably greater for the high-abortion states than for
the low-abortion states, as theory would predict. The magnitude of the differences are substantial: violent crime has fallen an additional 35 percentage
points since 1997 in high-abortion states relative to low-abortion states. For
property crime that difference is over 19 percentage points, and for homicide it is ∼15 percentage points. Aggregating over the entire time period
1985 to 2014 (Column 4), high-abortion states have experienced a reduction in crime relative to low-abortion states of −65.3, −52.5, and −47.0
percentage points for UCR violent crime, property crime, and homicide,
respectively. With Vital Statistics data, the homicide differential is −52.6
percentage points.
