I would argue paradigm shifts are less about policy per say and more the groups backing them. In 1979-2014 we went through the Neoliberal/neoconservative paradigm shift. We saw the height of their power be the Pre and immediately post 9-11 war. However the endless war on terror plus the anti nativist policies created the nationalist vs globalist paradigm.

Well that's the way you can get away with "fortification" is by delaying the results and coming up with a clever writing strategy like the bathrooms flooded so we need to recount the ballots.

Brazil was able to fortify their election and count every vote in like 6 hours, Dems just have to be more efficient in their banana republic bullshit.

Welcome to the two party system where the only way to complain to a party is vote for it again because the opposition is seemingly worse and caused every issue. And most western democracies are a variation of it because in practice no one there changed the way he votes so everything is completely static.

Brazil lacks the finer understanding of lawyers like the United States has. At the end of the day lawyers always get a wet dre when they see a politically charged paycut deal like this. Remember people in Brazil just shoot first and don't think about Jewish lawyers.

As someone who once upon a time managed the fleet of voting machines for a very large Florida county, Let me tell you what is happening to elections that is very concerning. And how future elections could easily be swayed for Democrats. Something that was once something to avoid in voter machine design to now being encouraged and now being deployed.

In a few key points:

1: Republicans overwhelmingly vote on election day. We need very high turnout in a short time to even think of winning.

2: Democrats win by having the most time available to ballot harvest and having the process so easy the lazy and uninterested people will do it.

That means if democrats can simply shut down a precinct on election day for some areas, it will make a dent. It's hard enough to get people to go once let alone twice to vote on the same day.

3: Voting machines used to be and mostly still are self contained systems. Where all data is stored in that machine and is collected when polls close. Then sent to the county office to be added into the total to be sent to the state.

4: Voting machines have taken a radical evolution in in how they work. They are now quickly becoming dumb terminals networked into a central server. Likely running Windows. This means each machine you use as a voter is simply a monitor and maybe a printer for physical ballots. All information displayed on the screen and the vote data is coming from and stored onto the server. This creates a MAJOR attack vector easily disguised as malfunction or bad luck. A single pin pushed into the right network cable can take a precinct out entirely and the problem not discovered at all for the minimum wage technician.

What this all means is that when a problem happens at a precinct, ALL the machines go down. Not a single machine. That means the whole precinct is closed. No voting. Who does this affect? Republican voters. Spread this out over several precincts and you lose the election for those contests. And all someone has to do is turn the server off. Trip over a plug. Play stupid until the technician maybe shows up hours later in no hurry. We are seeing this exact thing happen today across the nation. Entire precincts being shut down. Not just single malfunctioning machines.

We are being setup for easily stolen elections where you don't even need to change a vote. And the only way we can avoid this becoming the norm is that we need to let people know to get rid of networked and centralized voting systems. And Republicans have got to learn to vote early. No matter how distasteful it is. Blur the sharp line that has formed how the two parties cast their votes.

NV and AZ are popular destinations for them because they are close within driving distance to visit family and such.
I recently moved to NV from CA. Anecdotally I've met a lot of people who moved from CA and hate democrats like me. I see no real energy for democrats, but I also don't live in the ghetto part of town. Its pretty easy to identify how people vote here. A lot of people fly gadson flags, or are fat sheboons who still wear masks.

I'm trying not to doomer-post too much, but part of me is wondering if elections will be made obsolete soon? Too many ways they can be screwed with and with the bureaucratic class angry when an outsider "gets in", I can see "chosen and approved" public servants being appointed way more often moving forward. This is something both D and R can get behind and is making too much sense...

Hell, go full scifi to placate nerds like me and say an AI is optimizing personal choices (we'll all know it's shit based off HR software crap from the last decade), but it sounds "cool" and "scifi" enough.

Cyberpunk is here lads.
 
I'm hearing that zoomers turned out for the left by something like 3 to 1, and it isn't surprising. The far left has effectively taken control of academia, child education, social media and entertainment.

They have created a very thorough indoctrination pipeline that directs every thought from the moment people wake up until they go to bed. This is why the rates of kids trooning out is so high, and why every single thing that happens is cause for a nuclear meltdown in their minds. This has been done to create a class of perpetually further left voters, and voting isn't going to fix this.
