I just learned about this guy today but Maromaro is a Polish guitar player and composer who has been working on a strange series of instrumental songs set to music videos recorded on an early 90s video camera which tells a story in an artistic way. It sounds pretentious but this dude lays down some of the best mellow bass i've ever heard. He played lead guitar for a band called Czerwone Gitary for 8 years but he's now making his "Retro Poland" series which is super interesting.
My absolute favorite track, There's such a mischievous sinister and epic energy to it. Fitting for a song set to a video of a man selling his soul to the devil.
His most popular song so far. I like this one too but Trickster is so fucking good man.
Best modern Polish guitarist I can think of is this kid.
He has some serious skills and he's playing it in a way that I've never really heard before, using the guitar as a percussion instrument as well:
I really liked Ladrones at Rockville. They're a Mexican Metal band, and they sound great, even though I don't know what they're saying, but it sounds real good. I've been slowly adding some of their songs to my playlist. They formed in 2021, and just recently got their US tour, which how they ended up in Daytona.
I used to be in a male choir unil a pedo scandal rocked the entirety of it some 25 years ago
i just need to get rich to quit my job and start a solo band that does nothing but covers of songs where i replace every word with nigger
