With the success of Chinas Black Myth Wukong, India (like it always dose) tries to copy its big brother by creating their very own AAA game.

They may not become a super power in 2025, but perhaps they can settle for Game of The Year?

HAHAHA DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS!

THIS IS THE REAL GAME, THE AGE OF BHAARAT

"EDIT" Unleash the Avatar IS REAL!

That dodge-pose at 2:58 was kinda cool... Can't say the same for the rest of that trailer.

All the racist saars in this thread will all apologize when this game is a 10/10 and ushers in India as a cultural and technological superpower

This is so fucking goofy I can't take it seriously: The alpha showcase is set in a trash heap, that perfect dodge gives a vanity pose but no frame advantage, the Heavy enemy looking like the laziest Taro Boy ripoff I've ever seen, and choking out some random woman as the very first action.

This feels like a high effort shitpost made to mock jeets, but the thought it's 100% sincere and they think this shit is actually cool is just brilliant to me.

So what's the chances that this game's story will still be better than The Legend of Korra? Although TLOK does set the bar fairly low in terms of story.

All users who hating, fuck you bloody. OP-Saar this is good post and will make India #1 gaming, Pakistan could never! On a serious note, if this ends up being even somewhat decent then it'll make the dumpster fire that is current-year, western game development look even shittier than it already does.

You could make a good Total War game based around some of the more batshit elements of Hindu mythology. I remember they made a TV series in the 80s that was "based" on the Mahabharata which was... Yeah.

(Bonus points for the music that sounds like it was ripped straight out of a Street Fighter stage.)

Failing that, you could always make one of those Kairosoft games like Game Dev Story which has you running a scam call centre.

On second thoughts, nah, fuck it. The whole country, culture and people are a fucking meme.

I know that Indians are raised in a way that beats every ounce of creativity out of them, but it's insane to me that out of any location and genre of fiction that these guys could have based their game around they picked the smog-laden shithole. It's even crazier to me that the Indian masses are so devoid of abstract thought that they can't suspend their disbelief for anything that is beyond what's immediately observable to them.

They really do revel in all of the filth and indescribable shit that they witness on a daily basis. I wonder what an Indian stab at a conventional fantasy/sci-fi story would look like and whether they would need to have trash strewn about everywhere to remind theyselves of home an' shiet. Granted, I don't need to speculate about the Indian sci-fi utopia as we will be living in it within 5 years SAAR!
