The United States will withdraw from UNESCO, the United Nations agency focused on education, science and culture, at the end of next year, State Department Spokeswoman Heather Nauert announced in a statement Thursday morning.

“This decision was not taken lightly, and reflects U.S. concerns with mounting arrears at UNESCO, the need for fundamental reform in the organization, and continuing anti-Israel bias at UNESCO,” Nauert said in her statement

I agree the UN hasn't done anything significant or note worthy. All they do us sign useless decrees without doing anything i.e banning capital punishment for homosexuality. I wonder how many gays will the UN save?
