I'm sure Undertale fan music was posted here a plenty, but the most bizarre one I've come across that works unreasonably well is taking pilotredsun's Grinch's Ultimatum and making a more somber, sad rendition of it.
I didn't think GU would end up as a basis for an Undertale AU song, but here we are.

Damn you, you make me want that too. The only issue I'd say is that character creation should also include Monsters and Darkeners as different classes. 3 niggas in a line works better with 3 randoms strung together.
Humans/Vessels can be the Human Knight equivalent.
Monsters can be offensive mages or tanks, more specialized but grounded in previous RPG logic.
Darkeners can be a truly random experience in character building.
Imagine being a Shadowman gangster with enough bullets and power behind each one to be a one-man action movie ala Rambo.
Go all in on being a K. Round build that's a glass cannon taken to its extreme by munchkins. Evasion spells and damage resistance up the ass to make sure you can kick someone endlessly. Etc..
Maybe the lore is that the Roaring has happened and its what allows Darkeners to roam the Light World, your job is to fix the world and put it back the way it was with your party of 3.

See my idea was that the vessel you could create could take the form of a Monster, Human or a Darkner.
That way it's lore friendly having a 'Monster' with a Human soul. Also works with the idea that Darkners can survive in Light World if they've got a Human soul.

He's basically in the same spot of development for chapters 3&4 this time last year, so aside from it being one less chapter we don't have to wait for it to be a switch 2 launch title. So probably May is my guess for release.
