Recently i had to move out of the house for a few days and live with some relatives due to a big fight. I was sitting on a sofa in there, drinking some coffee, enjoying a good documentary about U Boats. This was days in and i had no idea when i would go back. Then i get a phone call. They say they are moving the bedrooms. The next day i realize, this will mean they are moving everything. If they do this, they will find the special socks. Two days later, i go back, they aborted their plans and didn't find them. Though one day i did see them misplaced, like someone found them and left them and pretended to never see them. Who knows what happened there. Anyway, it was a close encounter. I know they never found them and i still feel tense thinking about it.
