Just came out Wednesday, finished it today. Worth the wait. Probably going to play again because there's three different origins and multiple solutions for the various puzzles which affect the ending.

Yeah, the plot is this - you're a rando from New York and you get possessed by a demon, which causes you to go on a murderous rampage until the local chapter of the secret supernatural-hunting society catch up with you - the titular Unavowed. You get exorcised, but unfortunately you've left an awful lot of things fucked up during your possession, and the Unavowed consist only of a woman who is half-genie half-pirate, and a former accountant who unintentionally learnt fire magic.

It's really, really, genuinely good. Lots of nods and even a couple characters from Blackwell make an appearance. Apparently Jennifer Hepler formerly of Bioware was involved in it but the game is still excellent despite that.

About ten quid on Steam if you're interested.
 
I might look into it. It's got some pretty light system requirements, and as someone who doesn't have great hardware that's perfect for me. Besides, I enjoy point and clicks.
