So what time should we expect a result to come in. Tonight or tomorrow?

Exit poll will be at 10pm exactly, and that will give a very rough idea.

10:45pm Sunderland vs Newcastle Count Race will see either seat declared the first new MP of the parliament.

1am will give an idea of how accurate said exit poll is.

4-6am will be closer to the final tally and there's usually a winner during this window.

======================

Also it seems the tories know what they're doing, a ton of Tory adverts just spammed onto my facebook feed just before folks start arriving home to remind them to vote.

Yep, I've noticed it too on one of Cabbage's statuses. They openly said Vote Labour and the majority of the comments are either 'Stick to music' or just plain 'No'.

Also, it's been pissing it down pretty much all day in Manchester, prissy students likely won't want to go out in that weather.

I'm kind of getting excited to see the results come in tonight since no matter who wins, there's going to be a lot of salt and interesting things happening online.

From what I've gathered from home, it seems like the SNP are going to take a pretty decent sized hit tonight which is going to be wonderful to see, I can't stand Nicola Sturgeon

From what I've heard, the Tories of all parties are likely to fill in the majority of those lost SNP seats.

If that happens, Ruth Davidson needs a cabinet position (if she's not First Minister by Friday).

I voted SNP the last few times as have several people I know and are all voting Conservative this time (This is the first time I've voted for them) some mainly because of Brexit and others because they see Corbyn as a disaster but they all want to also send a message they're not interested in another referendum.

I don't think until quite recently the SNP have realised how toxic their wish to have another independence referendum is, it's reached to the surface now though where many of the public in Scotland are claiming they've been so focused on getting another referendum they've let fundamental things like literacy and numeracy rates drop - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-39856284

Gonna go out and vote in a sec. Can't wait for the inevitable salt later on, I should open the Pandora's box that is my Facebook feed during election season in preparation for any highlights from the resident SJWs on my friends' list.

Not that it'll make much difference since both Unitown and back home are pretty safe Labour seats, but whatever. I feel I should go vote anyway 'cause "muh suffragettes" and all that. At this point I just want my Facebook friends to stop spamming my feed with unfunny Corbyn memes tbh.

She's been facing calls to head to Westminster for years (She's basically Boris with breasts and no gaffes). She's also stubbornly refused time and time again and is probably looking more to rake Sturgeon over the coals some more and hopefully knock her down and out and find a suitable successor to tak over before she marches southwards.

They're currently on course to lose 8-11 seats. This could go higher if the "swing back" to the Tories after a 1 point gap between Labour and Tory appeared (Gee don't that sound familiar?).

Off of the last Scotland Polls just a few days back we're looking at 8 Scottish Tory MPs, 41 SNP and 1 a piece of Lab and Lib Dems. If the "swing" hadn't actually happened (as many suspect) then its entirely possible Scots Tories will be marching down in double figures and could form a surprisingly powerful faction within the Tory ranks with David Mandell's ear to tweak on Scottish issues.

Either way we're now looking at a bizarre situation in which the Tories are in a genuine renaissance in Scotland as they hoover up lots of Unionist votes.

Grey Army spent most of this morning heading to my local polling station with most working folks either going early morning or will be going shortly as the work day ends.

I drove half way across the South West and back for a meeting today, and I swear I have never seen so many 80 year olds on the roads. Accident on the M5 was apparently caused by a horse box overturning. I guess they were were swerving to avoid an octogenarian reversing down an off ramp or some such.

Anyway, thank Christ its almost over. This has to have been the most joyless abject failure of democracy I've seen my whole adult life. The only leader and party who had a respectable platform spent the entire time hiding under the stairs, while letting the rest of the Cream of British Politics make utter fucking fools of themselves.

I would say I can't wait for the rage when the Abbopotomus is voted out, but it's fucking Hackney, she'll get in again!

Joke I just read was "I'm stuck in a lift with Abbot and Corbyn, she can't figure out the floor number and he won't push the button!"

Also according to the Express Turkeys are voting for christmas while the working class are swapping to the Tories. According to the pollsters.

EDIT: Which kind of means that the luvvies are out in force for Labour whilst normal brits are now moving towards the Tories for the only bit of (somewhat wobbly) sanity in the sea.
