Mornington Crescent.
Now stop playing your shitty fake subway game. Its like a 30 year old meme.

I think sir, you will find it's a classic meme. Possibly one of the oldest around.

Anyway, I shall now sing Castle on the Hill by Ed Sheeran to the tune of Nelly the Elephant...

The first hilarious blunder... is that Team Corbyn's dropped the "Tories are the real extremists" because they'd beat him over the head with his Hamas and IRA ties.

Unfortunately, when asked to clarify, May is likely to keep the aid spending target. What's more likely to happen is there will be a tightening of how its spent. Possibly by trying to remove the mentality of "if we don't spend it this year they won't give it us next year." British aid spending still vastly outstrips the rest of the EU put together when it comes to Syria and remains a solid second to only the USA. While unpopular with the core, I can see why they'll keep it, especially during brexit negotiations as its been the best defence against the EU fuckaround demanding we take in "refugees".

May and Hammond appear so confident of their lead (It's 20 points, c'mon) that they're risking the pensions triple lock and the spectre of minor tax rises.

Oh yeah, and Labour has tweeted out a "Candidate CV" for people because they don't have 20 candidates on standby.

I mean the public hasn't punished them for breaking every other promise thus far, might as well keep doing it

So, as the Hamster of Time spins round on the Wheel of Eternity, and the Lorry Driver of Eternity makes a mental note to scrape it off later, I notice it's the end of the game.

I'm afraid it doesn't look as if Splendid Meat Sticks is going to be able to make it for the second round. I'm afraid he's had to stop off to see a grumpy, old gentleman friend in Stockport, who doesn't like spending his money.
He's been phoning Splendid Meat Sticks constantly, angrily demanding a visit. Splendid Meat Sticks says he doesn't really mind handling his testy calls, and he says if he butters him up properly, he can occasionally get him to splash out.

TBF the Tories are having a similar problem, but Douglas Carswell seems to be available. :)

And now the fun begins:

Survation (Mail on Sunday) Puts the standings at:

CON 40%
LAB 29%
LD 11%
UKIP 11%
SNP 4%
GRE 2%
Other 3%

Comres (Sunday Mirror):

Conservatives 50% (+4)

Lab 25% (NC)

Liberal Democrats 11% (NC)

UKIP 7% (-2)

SNP 4% (NC)

Green 3% (-1)

Other 1% (-1)

Survation will give a majority of 48, which is decent enough and workable.

Comres would give a majority of 186 which is larger than even Blair's 1997 landslide.

Any Tories reading this, remember, you HAVE TO VOTE to get this result. Don't stay at home.

As for the rest, if you really want Theresa May out, just put your cross next to the Monster Raving Loony Party, it's the only way your vote will actually mean something.

They'll stay Green and try to pick up votes in crunchy granola enclaves like Brighton and Glastonbury.

I believe this is called "doing a Brianna Wu"

Oh this should be fun, mostly because Davies doesn't give a fuck and it's why the people of Yorkshire keep voting for him. His arguments for removing "women" from the Equalities committee were that it was unfair to single out women and then throw everyone else under "Equality" when its sole purpose is to actually, ya know, ensure there's a promotion of Equality.

Mind, said committee is a Blair era machine which gave us Harriet Harman's Pink Bus which only went to schools and shopping centres where women supposedly only ever hang out.

They say as they demonise the Tories as monsters and playing tribal politics against the Right.

The problem is is they can't find common enough ground beyond stupid knee jerking "TORIES ARE MONSTERS REEEE" and Britain really really squicks the fuck out when it has to deal with coalitions anywhere outside of world wars. "The Coalition" as we know refer to the CONDEM coalition was a very rare instance of it working, and that was mostly because the Lib Dems got neutered very early on. The Tories were able to shove plenty of blame on the Lib Dems for the fuckups, and steal credit for Lib Dem policies when they were a triumphant success. It's called the "Chew and Swallow" and has happened to the Liberals before when they also went into coalition with a conservative government.

Meanwhile, we have the same bad messages we got from last time of every tiny ass party that has no seats or nowhere you care about (Plaid Cyymru) now trotting out the "If we hold the balance of power" line as an attempt to lure in voters...

Which May can counter with easily by talking about national security and stability again. Something she's pretty good at.

To be fair, we're talking about Philip Davies, the guy who tried to filibuster a bill to protect domestic abuse victims simply because there were gendered nouns in the text. The bill had incredible cross-party support, but his precious sensibilities were apparently more important.

When parties put aside differences for the common good and work together, and some fucker pops up to shit all over it with his autistic screeching, who's the one playing tribal politics?

I noticed the greens had lost a point, but no one else had picked it up...just wondered where the votes had gone. I dont see many greens becoming undecided.

Core vote maybe, but there's a lot of students who vote Green because they see them as being lefter than left and think that if they virtue signal hard enough that tasty hippie lass from SOAS will welcome them with open arms and legs.

Problem is she doesn't so much as have bushes in her arms and legs as an entire rainforest.

Mossy too.

The problem is Davies is fighting one hell of a weird war. He largely does it to piss off feminists and third wavers on a fairly low key way because of how they continue to push for "their" cause without trying to address the flip side of the coin. He fights tooth and nail to try and get laws applied in gender neutral terms rather than addressing only the women's side.

Especially in the UK where the court system continues to not take into account female professionals and still biases them towards maintenance payments and child access with it only just evening out to 50/50 in some county courts in recent years.

Or that the UK prison population is 94% male.

Or
that over 70% of UK's suicides are men.

Or that if you've got TnA you're now 35% more likely to go to University than if you've got meat and two veg.

You have to bare in mind, these are the same people howling at him claimed that the conservative government was murdering women in London by... making funding and access to centres for abuse victims genderless, and if you refused to sign up? You got no cash.

Today's weird fever dream is brought to you by Craig Brown of the Daily Mail:

19 times you met May

I have no fucking clue what this is and its only funny because it's so terribly unfunny.
