WASHINGTON — The United States shot down a fourth flying object over North America on Sunday, this one over Lake Huron in Michigan, U.S. officials said.

The Pentagon used an F-16 fighter jet that shot the object with a Sidewinder air-to-air missile. This object was unidentified, as was an object shot down over the Yukon Territory in Canada on Saturday and another shot down over the Arctic Ocean near Alaska on Friday.

The episodes began on Feb. 4, when the U.S. military shot down a Chinese spy balloon off the coast of South Carolina.

The latest turn in the aerial show taking place in the skies above North America comes after a helter-skelter weekend involving what at times seemed like an invasion of unidentified flying objects.

The incursions seemed to become so common that Biden administration officials have found themselves issuing private assurances that there is no evidence that they involve extraterrestrial activity. But officials also acknowledge privately that the longer they are unable to provide a public explanation for the provenance of the objects, the more speculation grows.

On Friday, after tracking an unidentified object 40,000 feet in the air across Alaska and into a fairly congested air traffic route for commercial flights between the United States and Asia, the United States shot down the object. It used the same type of airplane (an F-22) and weaponry (a Sidewinder air-to-air missile) that was used to shoot down a Chinese spy balloon a week earlier.

But soon after recovery teams began the effort to locate and identify the debris in the Prudhoe Bay area, NORAD, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, which is operated by the United States and Canada, began tracking a second unidentified object. This one moved across Alaska on Friday night and crossed into Canada on Saturday before it was shot down by an American fighter jet over the Yukon Territory.

The second object, Canadian authorities said, was cylindrical. The first object, American officials said, was the size of a small car, though one official said it was also cylindrical.

People are worried about balloons while in my state a train full of chemicals fucking exploded and is poisoning all the residents of a town and the government isn't doing much more beyond 'Hey get out of there if you have the money lol'

There is no way this balloon came from China lol. And if it did then the fact that the US is spending billions on their military and somehow a fucking balloon got past all of that technology to the Great Lakes shows how incompetent this government is. My guess is it’s a false flag. It wouldn’t be the first time the US government lied to its citizens.
Give me a break. They are shooting them down and now you want to claim that they aren’t even real?

Please.

First you say they incompetent for allowing a balloon over the border and in the next line you say there aren’t any balloons and it’s a false flag.

Do you think before you fart out of that thing you call a brain?

If they weren’t real you think they’d make up that they shot down…balloons? Why not an airplane or rocket or something other than a balloon if it’s a false flag?

More proof that if you pay your taxes you're actually a retard.

Its all aliens and there is a real life X-COM, and the spy balloon, was a front so people just expect the ufos to be more balloons and not ask questions.

Given that the object is “unidentified” I should not have referred to it as a balloon. The reason I did was because of all the Chinese spy balloon drama, my brain immediately associated this flying object with a balloon. Sorry for any confusion this caused.

My point was that anyone saying this flying object came from another country is naïve due to the fact that the US has the largest military budget in earth. It would make sense that this would’ve been spotted far earlier, especially if it had time to make it all the way to the Great Lakes. Since this was the first time the US government addressed the object it is most likely that this is either a) a false flag in order to provoke a desired reaction from the citizens of the United States, or b) the US being so incompetent as to let another object fly in from another country (for possibly the fourth time) just to shoot it down.

I find option (a) far more likely due to the fact that governments tend to identify what is flying before shooting it down with military grade equipment. We haven’t even seen a picture of this thing.

It’s even more likely when looking at the government’s track record of lying to the citizens of the US in order to garner support for something or to distract from something else.

Are ayylmaos more retarded than I thought they'd be or are they just doing false flags to justify an invasion?

I'm glad 99 Luftballons is a good song so I'm not annoyed about it getting brought up every five pages

It's very possible that they're not really looking for slow-moving objects with any sort of urgency and a balloon is probably fairly transparent to radar anyways. Couple that with it coming in over Alaska and Canada and it kind of makes sense that they don't notice it immediately.

NORAD has bigger things to worry about than a bag of air with a small payload hanging off of it.

I don't think this has anything to do with a war or anything. I think the US itself is trying to distract from that shitshow in Ohio by suddenly caring about foreign spy balloons.

How clueless are you to not know the US is full of Chinese spies? And wow this is the first time discovering the US government is incompetent. What country do you come from? lol

I would hand you a shovel but you don't seem to need any help digging that hole you got going on over there.
