Man that is a pretty rough clearance at 91 cents per gallon. Louisiana-style hot sauce is literally just boiled vinegar and chili peppers, and vinegar by itself is like $3/gal at Walmart. Didn't know Billy owned the company though, that makes sense. I also didn't know it was apparently doing so poorly.

By comparison, a gallon of Frank's Red Hot is $11.28 at Sam's. Other less known sauces are slightly less, a few under $10. I suspect this is some kind of loss leader or clearance. It sells at much higher prices on Amazon for instance.

I also found a gallon of Tabasco for $39 in a plastic bottle and about $60 in a glass jug, for a comparison of a more premium product.

Billy Mitchmart: Highest scores and lowest prices! Guaranteed!

Oh man, this is quite a hilarious thread; I figured Twin Galaxies was autistic, but I didn't think it would be autism rivaling speed demos archive.
Though truth be told, the only thing I really knew about TG was Billy Mitchel, and that's only because he got a reference in Donkey Kong Country Returns, of all things.

I think this picture sums Billy Mitchell up finely.
I first heard of Billy from the King of Kong documentary. If you haven’t seen it I highly recommend. It sums up all the autism of Twin Galaxies quite well.

First Sam's Club dumps his hot sauce at 91 cents a gallon. Now he's been getting illegitimate scores.

...at least I got to meet him before the fall. :c

I saw the King of Kong documentary a few years ago on Netflix. It really is wall to wall autism. A bunch of middle aged guys still sperging over old arcade games the kids just don't care about. It was interesting to see the history and all. But those guys just seemed so pathetic to me. Billy Mitchell's ego is very off putting.

I also saw the Nibbler documentary. Same sort of thing. This guy is so out of shape and he's practically killing himself trying to beat a high score on an obscure game no one really cares about. I think there's one scene where Tim McVey is up really late playing Nibbler and his kid has an accident and he's got to stop playing to change him.

AWW SHIET

This is the funniest, most autistic level of investigation ever.

The GIFs are just great:

They really took it to the next level, they probably talked to MAME developers and did a pretty scientific version sampling. If you wanted to pay people to do this for you, you'd be spending thousands of dollars on tech consultants.

I've been catching up a bit on this whole debacle and watched a few interesting videos today.

Todd Rodgers was on Ben Hecks Youtube show last year. Ben couldn't get his program to get any score close to Todds "Record".

"There's certain people I don't want to spend too much time with". -Billy Mitchell

I still find it hard to believe that a man with an ego his size still claims to have never seen the King of Kong.
