Well he's right about that. Food is something other people make for you with great skill. The right to grow, cook, etc. your own food could be considered a human right, but getting food for free can't be construed as a human right under any definition of that word.

Communists are the only people who could say that it's their human right to consume something that takes another person's sweat to produce.

Human rights are inherent elements of civic life and livelihood, like the right to self-defense or the right to free association. They're components of functional society that nobody needs to give to you, but which the government could take away from you. They're outlines of things which are thought to make a society function, not entitlements that let you have free stuff someone else made.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. The comment about utilities makes no sense because utilities don't exist within all people, they have to be built. Privatization has nothing to do with human rights at all. If a corporation becomes your governing authority, taking away your natural rights is still bad. The solution is to protect human rights with robust laws, which is why people identify and highlight them as a special category in the first place.

Foundationally, according to every branch of political theory except 21st century Marxism, all classical human rights are things you were born able to do. But they're also things that can be easily taken away by force, which is why they're considered to need basic protections. The right to life and its associated right to self-defense, the right to speak freely, the right to gather with other people, the right to worship your own religion, the right to possess property, etc. All of these are things you can do in the state of nature. That's what makes them rights and not privileges or benefits of participating in a society.

I don't think you disagree with me, but I also don't think you understand what I'm saying. You can PM me if you want me to explain in more detail. The thread is derailed enough already.

tl;dr: getting free shit isn't a human right.

Not really, Enter was being a retard when it came to COVID. Sure he could be right on some things but he literally gets in autistic rages over lockdowns (despite never going outside), and screamed about masks for many hour long videos. After that he made more COVID rants and told people to go fuck themselves when they ask for sources and also screamed about masks because of a children's PSA.

That's an :optimistic: view of what we do. I think we're almost just TV Tropes but for the real world and say nigger and faggot from time to time, and that's all that really separates us from TVT.

Not being about gay media and having a broad spectrum of topics makes KF a little more interesting at least. The people who post in Beauty Parlor and the people who post in Animal Control have wildly different attitudes and styles.
