And there's talks of nuking their shipping thread because minors are the involved. Well, they can go ahead and delete it. The lack of foresight that their site is astounding and there's other things that we can mock.

Well, I've gone ahead and archived the first ten pages of the Troper Shipping thread (and some other random pages), since that's also the one that the tropers wanted nuked from orbit. No DFE'ing for you, tropers.
I also archived some bullshit where Fast Eddie used Janitor, one of his sockpuppets, to brag that "she" went to MIT or some crap. And I made sure to archive the weird part too.
aargh where's Brave's Full Page Screenshot that Firefox has? It makes archiving a shit-ton times easier
Update: As of now, the tropers are wondering whether to recruit a new jannie for OTC. A few other tropers have posted about having jannie experience, but I don't know whether or not they will be hired. For the time being. They also want to nuke the Photos thread too under the excuse that it's just "personal information".

In the photos thread, the belly piercing pic is a fatty with stretch marks.
And I feel like that this stuff was inevitable. I mean, they would have found this thread sooner or later, somebody else would have complained, someone meaner than I would have caused more shit on the site, the possibility just keeps going on.
I also have an idea where this could lead, but the admins carrying it out would contradict the purpose of running a wiki.

Looks like some Tropers aren't comfortable about lurkers touching their oh-so-special TV Tropes profiles, and want the admins to block non-logged in users from viewing profiles.

Not much different than how Fast Eddie never gave a shit about all the creepy/just plain autistic shit in Troper Tales (like the classic "Perverse Sexual Lust") or the obsession over cataloging rape, pantyshots, and breast sizes on the main site until people started making fun of it and the advertisers started to frown on TV Tropes.

I remember a bunch of articles with "Rape Is Okay If" at the start of them. I checked more recently and they're all gone. I guess those creeps have moved on to Reddit now.
