Well, there's talks of nuking the shitposting section, along with a suggestion of permanently locking a thread if there's a hint of offsite discussion being mentioned; but people are divided between this being unfair to the bystanders and going through with it will attract the alt-right boogeymen. Along with an offsite jannie saying a "we don't care what you do offsite" rule will lead to another incident. Another entertaining take is that Fighteer can't comprehend why people would simultaneously talk elsewhere and on TVT. It's almost like how some of us use KF in addition to...whatever else.
But one of the few reasonable suggestion is that their mental health thread is a hugbox, which fosters a sense of unnecessary co-dependency, which is about as healthy as it sounds.
And by the way, telling a depressed person to get a job will make things worse.
As of this edit, they're debating on how to implement an minimum age for signing up to TVT, but it didn't go through because of technical limitations and the system could be gamed. And it turns out that if someone's parents cutting off their kids internet access counts as parental abuse. But when your kid turned out to be this guy, it's hard to stay angry at the Internet Lumberjack.
