Literally both of these characters identify with the gender they are born with. The thing with Chihiro though is stupider because he wants to be masculine and buff, he literally wants to stop cross dressing so the trans interpretation is fucking stupid and misses the point of the character

One of my favorite is the Outlast 2 ymmv. Tropers take one look at a story about a man having PTSD flashbacks to his childhood being hunted by the man who molested and killed his childhood crush (a girl), and they think "Yup, he must love gobbling cock."
