Ah yes, both universally despised, with the franchise basically becoming a "shallow parody" of itself at this point. Meanwhile, Felix the Cat is remembered as a cute clock. Checkmate, Tropers.
The Moral Event Horizon entries for cartoons universally agreed to undergo seasonal rot were far worse, it was functionally identical to being DMOS for moral choices as a source of angry for angry's sake. It was also pointless when the very concept of evil depends on lasting choices. No wonder many of them were purged.

This one isn't particularly egregious, I just think it's funny how TV Tropes autists always tie things back to their favorite anime or video game even if they have zero relevance or relation to the subject matter.

This is from The Exorcist's page, for the record.

I love the use of the phrase "most famously" as if anyone outside hardcore vidya autists would know what the hell Shin Megami Tensei is.

Okay, who thinks it's a good idea to compare a brief scene in the intro to Promare to the current situation during the COVID-19 pandemic?

Oh, and Nazi's. Don't forget about Nazis.

Found this on the Evangelion "nightmare fuel" page from back when I occasionally browsed TV tropes, and it made me laugh:

  • On top of that, there's a closeup shot of Asuka's bare feet as she's raised up to tiptoe while Shinji wrings her neck. Although they're cute, this is definitely NOT Fanservice.
