Newfag here, as someone who read through the entire thread I'm surprised nobody posted this.
Interesting. In the alternate reality the TVT cunts live in, the Mueller report actually had conclusive evidence of Russian meddling. I'm pretty sure in my reality it ended with a limp-dicked goon so desperate to save face all he could come up with was "well, I didn't find shit but that doesn't mean we should rule out the possibility that he did it anyway".

Indeed, they seem to completely believe that the Mueller report proves that Russia meddled in the election.

On another note, check out what they said in the YMMV page for the Joker movie:

"Much of the controversy surrounding the film revolves around the fact that the Joker, a homicidal maniac, is portrayed as a character who was driven to madness by the Crapsack World he lives in. Although the intention was meant to be a cautionary tale of how an unpleasant society can create people like the Joker, some people accused the film of being sympathetic towards real-life mass murderers since this is often used as the justification for their actions. Also, it joins in the narrative that sees white men becoming violent and dangerous only as a result of mistreatment removing entitlement and privilege from the discussion altogether. "

So the Joker can only 'work' if he became the Joker because of white male privilege?Long story short superhero movies need to get 'woke' otherwise they're bad is the message.Tropers do know that in real life 'bad guys' become bad for a variety of reasons right? There is no single path to being bad.

In general, TV Tropes users completely believe any and all accusations of abuse and sexual assault, simply because they feel that for too long, victims have been subjugated or unwilling to speak out of fear.

Also, for those too lazy to click the link, here's what that one poster believes will happen regarding appeals and the like with Vic:

"For this stage of the trial they still have to have a hearing on how much Vic owes; Legal Fees (which the judge reviews to make sure the defence hasn't inflated part of their bill) and then discussing additional sanctions to discourage Vic from filing any further meritless lawsuits. Normally if legal fees are high enough - and given that Vic will have to pay most if not all of 6 law firms worth of lawyers they will easily be in the 6 figure range - courts will not put in additional sanctions, but given that he's used a GFM to pay his legal fees to date whilst the defendants all paid out of their own pocket an argument could be made that he's financially insulated himself from the cost of this lawsuit so far so the sanctions will be needed. Weather the judge agrees is another matter.

Then Vic can appeal, and given that mediation failed I imagine he will (unless the bill for one reason or another convinces him it's better to just take the loss, or the bond request for appeal is so high that he choses not to make it). That will take about 1-2 years to get through appellate course due to caseload, at which point he will lose again and have to pay even more legal fees."

Tropers are morons, fee awards under the TCPA are not required for a supersedeas bond as they are not compensatory damages, and TCPA appeals are automatically expedited which makes it more like three months, as Chupp himself said. So he may lose on appeal, and the Texas Supreme Court may tell him to take a hike as well, but it won't be long (as these things go) and it won't require putting up more than a couple grand for a supersedeas bond which will stay all proceedings in the trial court.

They're doing everything to make the movie look bad, right? While it's currently smashing the box office and audiences are adoring it, TVTropes finds new ways to shit on it. "The film had a polarizing reaction amidst audiences because there's no jokes and the characters are mean-spirited jerks" "it's a violent movie pandering to dangerous white men" "It's a bad movie because it rips off anime and the King of Comedy"...

Man, the way they lie, it sounds like they're describing actual pretentious shit that made buttloads of money like Batman v Superman.

It's like they feel it is their duty to boycott this movie because only by banning people from seeing it will they save all the POC and LGBTQARBCVSY of the world.

They're looking WAY too deep into a film about a comic book super villain. It's amazing how much these people are fearing over something completely imaginary.
