Isn’t Sonic: Dark Chaos that shitty darkfic that tries to drive the (rather terrible) message of “hurr hurr religion bad!!1” by literally making one of the in-story factions a group of sci-fi Muslims?

The Mass Effect/Deus Ex one is mildly interesting because apparently the writer was involved to some extent with the development of Human Revolution
It should be an interesting concept, but I skimmed it out of sheer curiosity and it was just bad. The writing was crap and the dialogue was cheesy, both of which are huge sins when trying to write a fanfic about games known for their excellent writing.

Then again I don't know what I expected since it's fucking fanfiction.

Correction: Mas Effect WAS known for its excellent writing

Unsurprisingly, tropers can't handle the way retards were treated back in the day.

And they're also convinced that they aren't a burden, nowadays. Buuuuut

They do realize that’s the mentally challenged characters in both books are portrayed as sympathetic right (and in the case of Algernon the coworkers bullying Charlie is portrayed in a negative light).

To them, if a mentally disabled person is cruelly treated in-universe, it's advocating bullying reetards, regardless of intent.

In fact, wasn't Charlie getting smarter meant to be a bad thing? (forgive me it's been like over a decade since I've read this book)

More stupid shit from the TV Tropes of TV Tropes (DMoS)

Sane people see these as simple errors; this dumbass sees this as stab in the back.

More whining over that exact same Easter egg they treat as the antichrist

And also, this is how the page actually opens up.

Edit: looking back, that last part was too salty on my part, so I've removed the "go neck yourselves" part.
But still, dmos is mind bogglingly awful even by tropers standards. I have to wonder why they keep this thing.

Hush, my child; if you expose an SJW to logic, their head will explode.

It became a bad thing after the rat started getting violent. But for what it's worth, Charlie's coworkers eventually accepted him, according to the script I had to read.

LOL they consider Mass Effect 3's shitty ending to be on the same level as actual politics.
This pretty much explains why first world problems of fandoms are unironically included in their "Overshadowed by Controversy" page.
(Well, that, and just plain autism)

Now listen, Mass effect 3s shitty ending were OUR 9/11 ok?

The reason why dmos exist is the reason why we have several containment threads in Chris' subforum...Only that TVT's autism is worse than ours.

Ah yes, the usual.

Speaking of that, I remembered yet another frivolous thing: Tropers do e-dating. Not the normal fare in the style of, let’s say, You’ve Got Mail; but the kind of e-dating that gets absolutely annoying to onlookers unlucky enough to catch them PDA-ing.

Most of the time, one of them is a troon. Or worse, it’s both of them who are troons.
