Well yeah, look at the reaction to Obama's drone strikes. Nothing. That or pointing the finger at the US military and America without mentioning the executive.

What media are they talking about here? Probably a kid's movie...

Also, maybe it's just me, but I feel there's been resentment towards Mexicans and Muslims for years now, even before Trump came over. And the Muslim contempt has breed over to Europe after all the refugee nonsense, despite liberal media painting the situation as a progressive paradise.

So really, Trump didn't start anything if we're gonna be honest. (maybe triggering european politicians hard to make them islamo-friendly and "not like those bigoted rednecks", but I dunno).

Of course that resentment has been building up for years, how else would Trump cash in on it? It's the same with Hitler, people didn't just start hating Jews overnight when he came into power. The big difference is that Trump just wants the illegals out of the states while Hitler wanted the Jews out for good.

Alright - to be serious for a moment: I'm black and I want to smack half these people posting on shit they know nothing about, as well as those associated with BLM in general for how much they suck. Why do they think "Black Identity Extremists" automatically equals Black Lives Matter? That's an interesting leap of logic to make. Are they admitting that BLM is full of Black Identity Extremists and isn't quite the heroic progressive civil rights movement the media makes them out to be?
 
Way too late, but just needed to say - TV Tropes is a fun rabbit hole of pop culture references to get lost down once in a while, but a lot of Tropers are complete wusses, exemplified by whoever it was who tried to argue that Matt Smith Doctor Who interrupting the BBC One ident was nightmare fuel. Fuck's sake.

Oh, and of course any entries on there for fan fiction - MLP in particular - are composed entirely of cancer and :autism:
 
If you'd never been on Tv Tropes before, you'd think you'd be able to escape MLP by simply not looking at the work's pages.

I bring this up because TV Tropes torched these pages and so to head off any "WTF, why are they back?" in case anyone noticed.

We've been reviving a lot of pages TV Tropes burned to ashes during their censorship spree of late, like the page on "United States Angel Corps" (one of the most sickening things I've had the "pleasure" of reading), a few more hentai pages they killed off, among others.

Since they are works of media, the pages will be kept, and I don't give a shit who doesn't like it, but I plan to go over them and make sure they are scrubbed of any one handed edits.

Some unintentional hilarity out of the WMG page for the movie 10,000 BC.For those that don't remember it w as a critically panned Roland Emmerich movie from the year 2008 about cavemen pyramids and woolly mammoths in Egypt.
I don't know what's funnier some of the theories that come up like all the events actually take place in the present and its all a cover-up(???).Or the fact that someone is that big a fan of the movie to speculate this much about it.I'm starting to think TVtropes is the gathering place for the fans of trully bad movies and tv shows.And by fan the persons that love that stuff unironically not in the i like the Wicker Man with Nic Cage because of all the laughs you get.

That happens the same thing too with the 'assigned male' page return being in the so bad it's horrible webcomic page and got removed an hour later because they already discussed how offensive it is to put it there. So they would let a guro page or a loli hentai page on their site (unless it's "sex-friendly" so they won't get triggered over a porn ad) but a horribly written webcomic about a snobby trans kid is not allowed to be discussed?

I'm glad you brought that up, because All The Tropes was founded to oppose that sort of crap.

TV Tropes has, whether they admit it or not, chosen political sides over media and thus certain media are protected from scrutiny of a negative, positive or even neutral sort if the hivemind is triggered by this.

All The Tropes has a different stance. I personally have no love for "Assigned Male", consider the creator a hack, and their work to be the dumbest, self destructive propaganda for its putative cause ever published, but my personal feelings mean nothing before my goal to run a site where media is discussed, and 'Assigned Male' is a work of media, for good or ill, and while it may deserve it's spot on the "So Bad It's Horrible" section, it will be done in accordance with site policy for that section, not changed by outrage, but by popular consensus effected by proper adherence to site policy (I.E. - people will hash out whether it deserves that honor like adults and then we'll go from there).

Further, my personal feelings on the creator of 'Assigned Male' aside, I and All The Tropes will defend to the death their right to have their work objectively critiqued like any other media and mine or the personal feelings of others will not interfere with it's placement on ATT except as policy dictates.
