He's still doing shit now. It's not link his thread is wanking itself solely over things he's done years ago. Come on now. Also I love the last sentence. It's basically the most faggot way of saying people who dislike yan-dev post about it on different parts of the internet.

It's like comic books are fictional or something. I mean we can accept a man who can fly and shoot lasers from his eyes but not unrealistic representation of insanity demographics.
theyve got a point though, imagine making a movie that says all sharks are ravenous man-eaters

Well if you stayed true to the statistics and made most supervillians black than these same people would be RREEEEEEing about how racist comics are.
now that you mention it could i have a look at those statistics it'd be funny

Dear god, look at the page's image

If TV Tropes rebranded themselves as a my little pony fansite, no one would be able to notice.
Just...what?

I have no idea what's going on in this comic. I'm pretty sure the only reason it's used as the page image is because of the troll face, cause otherwise this is totally incomprehensible to anyone unfamiliar with MLP.

It's just a ponified rage troll science comic.

This gives an idea of how popular mlp is on the site. And this isn't even including the other pages like YMMV and recaps. The only reason they split pages like this is when the pages become too big.

^ It's not exclusive to mlp. They've got them for doctor who, the simpsons and so on.
But the difference is those shows have been around forever. Dr Who has existed since 1963 and The Simpsons has reached 28 seasons. So those shows having an obscenely large number of tropes isn't that surprising.

This iteration of My Little Pony has only been around for 7 seasons, which is a long time for children's TV, but nowhere near the length of Dr Who and The Simpsons.

To put it another way, SpongeBob SquarePants, a show that has been on the air for about 20 years, has about 4 subpages for its tropes while MLP: Friendship is Magic, a show that's existed for roughly less than half that time has 7.

Comic book villains being "insane" is just an easy, lazy way to explain why someone is running around in colorful spandex with a freeze ray robbing banks, rather than just robbing banks. They might have had a point in the 1950's when mental health professionals (and their patients) were painted in a very pejorative light but not anymore.

@Rabbit without a hat feels this remains an accurate reflection of reality and disagreeing with it is highly autistic, much like portraying a female character wearing pants or wishing to exist in the timeline where video game journalism has ethical standards
