Probably reposting, but it's very telling in terms of their worldviews when seeing who they quoted for the quotes section for "The Reason You Suck Speech" (alongside who they gave pages to while people like Mauler and Critical Drinker (not saying that those two are flawless mind you) had their trope pages deleted.

It's like MLP or Transformers, they make a new series every few years or so as part of promoting toy lines. The first line of Monster High launched in 2010, I remember seeing toy commercials while watching SpongeBob, so it's not that old. Still rather successful for a toy line, most of those franchises are gone within 5 years, so I was surprised to hear it was downright multimedia at this point.

I think I remember the “statistic” he sourced for that rant. It counted suicides as firearm deaths and set the parameters to all individuals 25 and younger, so him acting like it proved that grade schoolers where being Columbined as some crisis pisses me off to no end, especially because it was used as a “gotcha” about wanting sexual freaks to stay away from kids.

Actually, they should really just ban real life examples from that trope article precisely because such partisan nonsense is chosen above anything else.
 
Colin Noir did a response video back when that """"interview""""" first dropped and iirc it included 18 and 19 year olds. Most of the gun deaths were adults and late teens involved in gun violence in cities (I.E. Gang shit) and suicides.

But Jon, being a smarmy shitlib, framed it like there we're 5 billion columbines happening all the time and we need to ban guns NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW or else you don't care about dem dead kiiiiiiiiids.

A long time ago, I made a formal report against some guy who was babysitting a page and deleting pretty much every edit that wasn't added by him. Did the whole song and dance with the community page too for an "open dialogue". 2-3 posts in and everyone had already taken his side, without even sparing a thought as to how weird it is that he's trying to be a petty tyrant over a character page. There's no winning if you play by their rules, the "Beg the mods to unban you" forum is proof enough of that.

Basically, you stumbled onto a loser whose autistic special interest is whatever article you wanted to edit. Every second their mom isn't forcing them to do chores, they are obsessively refreshing on any edits. It gives them the illusion that they own whatever anime or TV show they are obsessively pressing F5 on,, Only they get to decide how it can be interpreted, and enjoyed. How you dare to disagree with their headcanons, and their discord "friend" group.

Every popular, or even some niche franchise has their local autist.

This site truly proves that many weird kids and autists are no better than the people that bullied them at school. Cool kids are popular because they are likable, you know, and know how to treat others well. Tropers are basically smug Redditors, and they choose to be insufferable assholes the instant they get a little bit of power, and then they wonder why nobody likes them IRL.
