Well excuse me for not having a concept of "latinoness" and not caring about that kind of stuff as a 5 year old (why should a kid care about that anyway?).
Honestly, I like some of the changes, but others are really bad.
The same scene got two changes, one good, the other bad. When Mark had to kill the guy being controlled by the squids, in the comic, the device had been destroyed, so he had no choice but to kill him. The change for he could have waited, but it was too risky, is good.
But they also cut him being shocked at himself for screaming "My planet" with focus on "My", believing he is thinking like his father.
Oda has done everything but outright state "Yamato is a girl and knows she's a girl, Oden is just a coping mechanism." The insistence that she's transgender is just totally wrong at this point.
On the other hand, he did this to himself by having everyone refer to her as "he" throughout Act 3.
I don't get the "they don't make jokes about it"; who is making a joke while the giant monster with a force field is stalking them?
Still, when you think about it, Capcon had the beauty-obsessed terrorist becoming a pretty-looking monster, and then into a horrific blob, and be killed by a Chad who gets the Chinese baddie (unlike Leon)

That's resident evil dead aim. Anyway, I'm curious to how capcom's gonna handle the code veronica remake since they'd probably change up Alfred Ashford and change Claire's line where calls him a cross dressing freak before the tyrant boss fight on the cargo.

Maybe that's why we haven't gotten it, nobody wants to touch the major plot point of one of the main villains dressing up like his twin sister and pretending he is her on account of being completely utterly batshit, especially since retards have already called the story “transphobic” on account of it. Even if they don't do that, enough people think that mental illness is harmless and shouldn't be mocked that emphasizing the fact that Alfred is a multiple-personality schizophrenic rather than a troon is still liable to piss people off.
Best way they could do it without offending trannies and schizos would probably involve having Alfred talk to a mannequin dressed as Alexia and using some old voice recording to pretend the mannequin is talking back. Of course, that isn't as disturbing as a psychotic loonie dressing up as his sister and using “her” as mouthpiece, but you have to adjust your story for the “modern audience” if you want to be greenlit at all.

"Interpreted as being a trans female" Shut the hell up. Back before you people took over, a guy becoming a female monster was seen as incredibly weird.
"There is no way a biker whose brother is a police officer would call the insane killer who is after them a crossdressing freak; that's too rude."
That's pretty much the only line Claire would say that won't be an actual slur, which she is 100% justified in making, given the circumstances.
Out of curiosity, I've looked up the details of this drama.
The banned user, LinkMarioSamus, made his last edit on March 3rd, to the YMMV.HarryPotter page. His edit consisted of removing several ValuesDissonance bullets which claimed how the Harry Potter books were racist, transphobic, etc, etc. The edit doesn't seem to list any edit reason. It was reverted by a mod two hours later.
LinkMarioSamus was apparently banned very quickly after that, upon which he made several posts in the "Edit banned" thread:
If I got edit banned for bringing up US politics in an edit reason I apologise. However, I personally find most of those subbullets as questioning stuff I found common sense and stuff like Trump’s reelection makes it clear to me that Values Dissonance really should be limited to anything from over three decades ago if not more.
Notice he mentions "bringing up US politics in an edit reason". So maybe there was an edit reason in the Harry Potter edit, and it was somehow deleted by a mod? I don't know if that can happen.
I will also admit that I always personally thought people were reading too much into the Harry Potter examples regarding supposedly dissonant values (particularly the SPEW subplot), and reading the VD examples just drove me so crazy I decided to nuke them. If I was not banned from the forums I would have asked there first.
I will further admit I keep going to remove Lady Emily’s whole page because I don’t think this site should acknowledge a hateful, despicable cult leader like her but I never had the heart to unilaterally remove it in case it could not be restored.
("Lady Emily" here likely refers to a MtF trans youtuber, who has a TV Tropes page, and is involved in some online drama that I don't care to investigate.)
Hello, you were suspended, once again, for editing with a clear agenda in mind. It is worth remembering that "common sense" is merely what you yourself don't question. Rule of Cautious Editing Judgement exists for a reason.
We will be blunt, forcing your opinion on YMMV is not a good look, and referring to a YTer who happens to be a member of a minority adjacent to your edits, as a "hateful, despicable cult leader" doesn't exactly inspire confidence. We can't give you credit for deciding not to break the rules.
If we do give you one more chance (it will actually be one more chance, and that is a very clear "if"), we need some more convincing. Please make your pitch.
Honestly I understand that I shouldn’t force my opinion on YMMV edits, but had I been allowed to post on the forums I would have run it through the cleanup thread first and I think I wouldn’t have brought up the ROCEJ issue, though I probably would have still used the “common sense” argument.
And then follows the post from Bisected8 which was already linked above:
You appear to be suggesting that being LGBTQ+ is a choice, and that they are not discriminated against. We aren't sure how you expected this to come across, but you've done more to convince us that you're here with an axe to grind against them. We were looking for proof this was not the case. Unfortunately your appeal is denied.
It's hard to tell what about LinkMarioSamus's words might have provoked accusations that he's "suggesting that being LGBTQ+ is a choice, and that they are not discriminated against". Either Bisected8 is responding to something than LinkMarioSamus wrote in a now-deleted message [which, ironically, only ends up making Bisected8 looking as if he's making stuff up] or Bisected8 is reading way way way too much into LinkMarioSamus's vague words.
As for LinkMarioSamus, well, he's evidently autistic and incautious, but he's got his heart in the right place; At this point I'd cheer if TV Tropes removed Values Dissonance entirely, or at least wiped all its examples.
("Lady Emily" here likely refers to a MtF trans youtuber, who has a TV Tropes page, and is involved in some online drama that I don't care to investigate.)
I know she's cancelled Chuggaaconroy for being a footfag who wanted her to send feet pics in shoes he bought for her, and then everyone decided it was fine because he found evidence it was totally consensual. No idea what this "cult leader" accusation is, unless LinkMarioSamus thinks cancellation is cult indoctrination. It's pretty hard to know what the fuck GreatCheshire does because they're a Nebula content creator whose stuff is all paywalled.
EDIT: This might've been what he was talking about in terms of "bringing up US politics":
"There is no way a biker whose brother is a police officer would call the insane killer who is after them a crossdressing freak; that's too rude."

Muslims didn't make them spend a few hours in a church when they were kids, so they aren't a valid target, and you can't complain about the pedophile warlord's death cult.
