Uhhhhhhhhhh...that might not be a wise thing to trope.

Imagine getting triggered over Pulentos. Yes troper, all kinds of media still loved using stereotypes in the 2000s, so SHOCKING!!!!, and that episode was less "haha funni chinese" and more "obligatory girls vs boys episode in a kids's show" anyway.

I wonder if this was put by the same retard who got offended by 31 minutos? It's pretty recent too, it wasn't there last time I checked it (couple months ago IIRC) :story:

Japanese man: makes a cartoon about a japanese mouse (who knows and teaches martial arts) and his japanese family in the late 50s.
TVtropes: *throws a shitfit over a japanese man putting typical japanese things in his cartoon about a japanese mouse family from the late 50s*

They only have 12 tropes for Hashimoto-san and 3 are for whining about muh stereotypes. That's 1/4 of the tropes.

Discord janny whining about being banned for being "uncivilized" in that "For Want of an Nail" discussion, that happened an while ago

This fine fellow has clearly never been banned before if he thinks this is a fight he can win. You'd think someone whose been on that hellhole since the Fast Eddie days would realize the mods are on their own program.

why is it always the kids shows

Ummmm not really. (I didn't even know she was supposed to be latina until I was well into adulthood)

Honestly, Dora the Explorer had always felt like an Mexican, to me. It might just be the design of some of the character's houses that are giving off that vibe. But anyways, furries ruins everything that they've watched as an preschooler, so I wouldn't put it past TVT to have quite a few cooming to most of Nick Jr's lineup

Growing up I remember a ton of jokes about her being an illegal or getting deported and stuff, so I've always imagined her as Mexican. I imagine the cartoon probably teaches proper Castilian Spanish, so that'd probably contradict that, but Mexican border-jumping Dora is too funny for me to stop believing that to be true.

Why did they single out the inflation art...

For Yamato, the author made clear that she is coping; she thinks she is a man because she thinks she is a specific guy, to the point of calling the man's son as if he were her son.
Honestly, I'm just waiting for the in-universe admission of this. Because this shit absolutely will traumatize some of the woketards on Fandom

I'm assuming anybody claiming they didn't know Dora was latina never watched the show, because the entire concept is about a Latin American Spanish speaking girl teaching you English while exploring various latin American-esque locations

Now Dragon Tails I can understand. Legitimately had no idea Max and Emmy were supposed to be Latino

I think he recently posted an image that confirms that continuing her delusion is a bad ending.

Of course there had to be a "adaptation is better beacuse girl power"
Honestly, I like some of the changes, but others are really bad.
The same scene got two changes, one good, the other bad. When Mark had to kill the guy being controlled by the squids, in the comic, the device had been destroyed, so he had no choice but to kill him. The change for he could have waited, but it was too risky, is good.
But they also cut him being shocked at himself for screaming "My planet" with focus on "My", believing he is thinking like his father.

Well excuse me for not having a concept of "latinoness" and not caring about that kind of stuff as a 5 year old (why should a kid care about that anyway?). Southern Cone is pretty different from the rest of Latam by the way.

Nah you're good man, sorry for my somewhat rude intro to the TV Tropes thread. As a kid who grew up in the South right next to a Mexican restaurant the show's latiness was probably a little more obvious
