I love it that they say "As an example" and then don't give any direct ones. I know they have a "no references" kind of deal, but it really irks me whenever people do this type of stuff. It feels like when a kid needs to back up a statement with references and instead comes up with things that "make sense" if you think about it for 2 seconds.

This website is infested with groomers

Damn son, you mean to tell me that shows for literal children don't want to talk about two people bumping uglies?

How is this a trope? Trick question, it's not. Just an excuse to talk about shit that isn't there.

The inmates are literally running the asylum when it comes to new trope pages and the jannies are mysteriously unaware for it. Except for WarJay, who'd rather bitch about unimportant shit than point out the elephant in the room

The jannies are too busy completely removing pages with a decade of history because "the trope is too vague" to pay attention to the deranged fetish stuff that gets created every day.

TV Tropes has a page for the infamous British Pathways game now. Naturally, the YMMV subpage has a lot about the game's troublesome messaging and how popular Amelia is.

So place your bets -- how long before the page (or at least, the YMMV subpage) gets scrubbed for promoting bigotry?

You can tell how nervous they are talking about it because they're trying really hard to avoid addressing why Amelia is so popular.

They say Amelia is anti-immigration a few times, but they never elaborate on what exactly makes her an extremist.

This may be me but the amount of "memes/fanon/jokes" entries that originate solely from a thread on a Gamefaqs from ten years ago and are mentioned literally nowhere else are weirdly high.
