Some Spanish speakers are apparently trying to enforce “-e” as a gender-neutral alternative to -o and -a (ex. “Latine”). I have no idea how successful this has been or just how heavily it’s being pushed, though.

I've wanted a "Predator as the good guy" movie for years now, but Badlands just looks really underwhelming. First off the Pred in it looks stupid, and they deliberately gave him an awful black dude haircut. Secondly the hot woman they cast as the token human doesn't have legs so you don't get to ogle the eye candy at any point. And now it turns out to be another generational trauma movie for people who can't get over their parents yelling at them when they were kids.
