An insight on why stub pages are quickly cut, instead of just letting someone else fix them as they find it. And they've also deleted someone's sandbox page because it had Complete Monster stuff on it...Instead of the jannies surgically removing it.

And in the midst of the ongoing shitshow that's going in America, they would like to remind you that the worst thing that you can do is spend your free time intentionally avoiding politics instead of voting or researching on which Democrat to vote for.

Simple point is that they are similar but different. “Man on Fire” entails a person being set ablaze and presumably dying from it, “Wreathed in Flames” is the more supernatural version where somebody can surround themselves with fire without harm, and “incendiary exponent” is more of a meta-trope concerning the fact that things being on fire is considered cool. I believe some of them are sub-tropes of the others, and a few are kissing cousins. This tends to happen simply because some tropes are too common and too varied in execution to group into a single thing

It's hilarious that someone would level this accusation at one of the few shows where the incest is not only called out as abominable, but a core piece of the character drama rather than a wish-fulfillment girlfriend like in Mahouka and Oreimo.

Then you check the thread and it's been going so long with no discussion that people are starting to question why it's still highlighted. Don't worry though, our old friend Warjay was quick to remind everyone that the TRS is so pointless and wasteful that it's totally normal for "discussions" to last for months with nothing getting accomplished.

I think that last guy just wanted to feel like he was apart of something. Genuinely contributed nothing. Keep in mind this is one of the pages that Kory explictly told them to put back because it's one of the most popular on the whole site. So why they're even discussing how to change it is beyond me.
 
So, on the other side of the coin, the jannies are still autistic over people trying to circumvent an subforum ban (this one is actually permanent, without any elaboration from the jannies). And WarJay's pet peeve to rewrite the TLP guidelines has moved to a different thread and the same janny who told him "no," last time is still ambivalent over the entire issue

And it turns out that one of the main reason why the woke brigade is REEEEING about some of the more...questionable aspects of Japanese media is that the Japs classify people by their physical sex instead of taking shit at face value
