I remember it being fairly funny when it wasn't being informative but it's probably just nostalgia goggles since my recollection was Cracked went to shit really, really fast.

Cracked also was NOT a good source even in its better days because some of the supposed facts were either misconceptions or outright exaggerated/pop culture.

Does anyone has an source for that post from Kory? Most of the usual threads are either dead, doesn't match the timeframe, or too short

Found the 4chan thread and possibly the source of it . Basically, Kory had finally found that there's an cabal of retards cutting and reshuffling shit with mods rubber-stamping it, if I'm right

And yes, it's all about ad revenue

That thread is so bizarre to me because Kory is telling them in the simplest terms he can that the wanton destruction of popular tropes needs to stop and they are fighting so hard to maintain their "power" over the website.

Well, we all know how autists get when something of theirs get separated from them. But I find it more disturbing that Kory's been using the size of his userbase as an argument over anything else

Eh, I think it works in this specific context. Kory is giving the TVT Troon Squad a much-needed reminder that, as in real life, they represent a vanishingly small percentage of the population and therefore shouldn't act like they speak for a significant portion of the site's users when they throw an autistic bitchfit in the forums about some trope that triggered one of them.

One of the writers had a running gag about pointing out how the "Environmental Protection Agency representative Walter Peck" did nothing wrong, after featuring him in an article about "villains who were right." Unfortunately...

1. He accuses Ghostbusters of faking the ghosts with hallucinogens. How do they make every witness see the same thing, or even deliver a right doze to everyone in a crowd?
2. Him forcibly shutting down the Containment Unit. Even one of his fellow EPA people outright points out that even if the thing isn't actually keeping ghosts imprisoned, suddenly cutting the power could have non-supernatural negative consequences.
3. Blames everyone but himself for the consequences.
