I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS A WHILE BACK!! I knew I saw this somewhere! I couldn't find it when I tried again recently though.
ATT forked TVT at a very specific point in time and the shitstorm that caused at TVT meant it caused a legal situation that meant ATT don't use anything from TVT after that point, what I would deduce is someone at TVT removed it in the several years since, I wonder why...

The character in question:
latest

You have to be one depraved sack of shit to sperg about a pre-school cartoon character being naked.

Got the word back from GethN7 who runs ATT and he'd like me to quote him here:
By all means, YES. I consider the TV Tropes thread on the Kiwi Farms a terrifying look in what happens when you let pedophiles and other sorts of sick bastards have no supervision whatsoever.

Burn that shit to ashes and salt the remains to be sure with my blessing.

If any of you guys want to help us search out whether any of this shit you find on TVT matches with ATT, that'd be appreciated.

I noticed this on the "Sadist Show" page:
That's pretty bad that you had to cite GoAnimate videos to prove your point.

I thought the original point of the "Sadist Show" trope was the writers don't realize their cruelty humor is no longer funny and is just unpleasant. Or when characters are subjected to intense pain or loss in such a way it comes out of left field. Not when it's some bullshit fanfiction where the creator is intentionally torturing children's show characters.

This fucking site. It's like a high-risk quarantine zone for epidemic-level autism. But then what should I expect from a site originating with the Buffy fandom?*

*Even though no one who uses the site watches Buffy anymore

You have no idea how right you are on that last part:

According to this bio, this guy was the oldest remaining original member of TV Tropes back when it was just a Buffy site. Fast Eddie aside, and now that Eddie is apparently gone, it is no longer run or patronized by any of the original members anymore, so to say inmates took over the asylum is scarily true.

I feel kind of bad for the "old guard" who put so much work into that site only to watch it become-
In response to finding an empty page labeled "Anime" during his first visit, he spent his first few weeks on the wiki creating the entire Anime section from scratch

Never mind.

If you want to read his fanfiction, go here:

And believe it or not, he actually has a job, a wife, and a social life:

He helped found All The Tropes because he was disgusted with what TV Tropes had turned into, and while he is a noted anti-censorship advocate, he's also responsible for having written the rules for All The Tropes, and given how they are painfully autistic yet actually try to deal with spergs jacking off about their fetishes as seen above, I'd give him a little slack, but that's just me.

Also, I took a look at his tastes in anime, and it's mostly old-school stuff. He has also admitted a distaste of hentai (and oversexualized stuff in general, likely because he's married) and he was one of the main voices in favor of cutting out a lot of TV Tropes' self-fellating bullshit that they inherited.

I don't know if anyone's ever brought it up on here before, but the RWBY pages are pure gold. See, for those of you that don't know, RWBY fans are generally split into two categories: Those who watch the show because it's a stellar example of what not to do and/or because they want to see if the show can mature; and those who take the show 100% seriously, be it because of :autism: or general stupidity. TVTropes's page for RWBY seems to be entirely the latter. I would like to show you all some highlights.

RWBY vocal themes, as a rule, are shit. The only exceptions are probably "Mirror, Mirror", "Red Like Roses", and "This Will Be The Day", which are the first three songs in the first soundtrack. Since then, the songs have been laughably awful. When It Falls, from the third season, is such garbage I don't even know if I can properly describe it. Aside from the fact that a 17-year-old, classically trained singer is attempting to sing metal, the lyrics and instrumentation are so edgy that you could have shoved them in the Shadow The Hedgehog OST and it would have fit. Here's a challenge: Try not to cringe.

Remember when I said that "Mirror, Mirror" was one of the good songs on the soundtrack? Honestly, it's probably the best. The lyrics are minimal (and mediocre), so the story, instead, is told through the animation that goes with it: The White Trailer. The message is obvious: Weiss is your typical lonely rich girl, jaded because of the pressure to be perfect. Of course, why should I explain it when TVTropes found the most fitting person to describe the emotional impact?

Of course, you don't need interesting character traits or stories to make these fans feel sad.

Aww, she got turned down. So tragic! So depressing! So... insignificant in its affect on anything in the show. This scene lasts two seconds at best. It's supposed to be funny. Guess not.

I'll put it bluntly: Nothing in this show is frightening. Nothing. Gravity Falls was more frightening. Disney movies are more frightening. This show is not in the least scary. TVTropes, though, begs to differ.

Only thing in this entire franchise that's frightening is under the "manga" section. The manga isn't even written by the same people. Make of that what you will.

Holy shit, that's awful. Like, legitimately. If only the show could actually make me feel emotions like that.

I like how this one can be read as "the real Nightmare Fuel is the bad writing."

I like how they call it "funny" and "awesome." (Thou to be fair, it does have its moments.)

SpongeBob's fandom is weirder than the Brony fandom...

Back on the topic, I keep seeing this show listed on too many TVTropes pages. It sounds very boring. Why does it even have a trope page if the author admits it has no plot?

Also, I bet you that kids who are too young to go on the internet wrote this page. Nothing on it is humorous to me, but would be to toddlers.

TV Tropes is a lot like Kiwi Farms. In order for an article to thrive, you need one or two dedicated users to do the heavy lifting. If someone wants to heavy lift on weird french shit rather than All Quiet On The Western Front you kind of just have to accept it.

There was a This Troper episode that highlighted one guy is the one doing all the Dresden File entries on the website, which is why it's on 90% of the trope pages despite no one else knowing about it.

That or an extremely large, extremely autistic fan base, which is why there are pony examples on every major trope. If you wanted to do a sober up game to try to recover from alcoholism, you could invent a game where you try to find a trope article of X length that doesn't have ponies on it somewhere and take a drink when you do. You would soon be a teetotaller.

As much as the pony stiff bugged me their fixation on fan fiction is what really got me. They have entire tabs dedicated to fics, often as long as thei pony and anime tabs.
