I swear to God, anyone who uses TVTropes as a reference for a college paper, and not being about online communities, fandom-run wikis in general, and other similar things deserve all the fail they can get.
 
I don't know if it has been mentioned, but "Assigned Male" used to be in the Webcomic section of "So Bad It's Horrible", but it got taken off repeatedly because SJW-ism and "hate speech".

To the point that he would rather get Billy the Heretic removed from the page due to having a fanbase (of neo-Nazis) rather than risk Assigned Male being put in the Horrible Webcomics page again:

they also removed U.S. Angel Corps (a notoriously bad and disgusting webcomic) because "muh fandom"
 
The "so bad it's horrible" entry would probably be better off with a full cleansing and like the many Sue tropes, have a line added to the end of the description that says "no examples please, this just defines the term".

But I'm not improving their site for them, so they can fuck off.

Either way, both reasons are dumb. Same with the removal of the Fan Fiction and Web Original pages.
