They love talking about COVID for some reason, everything comes back to it. As far as LGBT goes, it's almost always some gender confused loser projecting their psychosis onto other people. "[Character no one cares about] is very popular in the LGBT fanbase" Uh huh, sure.

TVTropes recently cut their pages for Char Clone and Shana Clone. Two pages for actual recurring archetypes that anime and narou-kei keep ripping off. At this rate I won't be surprised if they cut the Rei Clone page, too.
 
Punishing people over an security issue.

And regarding with how the editing issue was hidden for lurkers, I did some looking around and it turns out that it was driven by SEO. And since people are voicing reasonable concerns about this, and started deleting posts for the usual reason.

I honestly never really cared for that stuff. But it really makes you wonder what their end-goal is or if the voting portion of the userbase actually hates certain stereotypes

This shit is not sustainable. What the fuck is the point of discussion threads if a mod can come in, declare that something with hundreds of examples isn't a trope, and then ban anyone who disputes it?

At least Fast Eddie had an excuse with the coomer shit going too far...And that was one of the only times where he was actually right about deleting stuff. But I still think that this is just an cabal of autists who are convincing the mods to do shit by saying whatever is either superfluous or "poorly written" over the past few years.

We're in agreement. TvTropes is being run by a small band of fucking losers who get to cry and whinge until the mods do whatever they want. I don't even know what makes them so special, I've been shitposting for years and no one's offered me any kind of position.

All you have to do is find an disambig page, go to one of the redirects, explain that an majority of the examples are poorly written with actual statistics, and make an thread about it.

There, now you have an redirect that goes into an redirect
