Still, you'd figure a guy who proclaims to "hate all literature" should hate all literature. Not just the ones he personally thinks are crap.

The mindset of tropers boggles me sometimes.

I was talking in general about the what date one chooses to draw the line where real literature starts and utter shit begins, and whether the utter shit is before or after that date.
 
IIRC the SA mock thread also found out that Deboss is 30+ years old and works at Home Depot pushing carts despite spending 8 years in Engineering school
 
Adding on to what the SA thread covered: remember that high school NaNo where everyone is a gay anime robot? I posted their mock of it really far back, here's the link again and I'll try not to say anything they already talked about in great detail, but they got one thing wrong. There was a lot of bewilderment over how the author, a self proclaimed normal sane intelligent gay man* could write such wildly off-color portrayals of an entire room of gay anime robots.

Turns out "he" is really a she with delusions of wanting a penis to rub against other penises. The author has since added that detail about wanting to mutilate its own genitals to its TV Tropes page (wasn't there all the way back when SA first looked), but the point is that once you realize the whole thing was written by a weeaboo tranny the complete detachment from reality makes perfect sense.

*this is a lie, all gays are insane and unstable
