Which is funny because Raz0rfist and a few others ilhave been arguing that the meme should be: going broke? Go woke!

Hoyt calls it "roll left and die."

As ever it is leftists depending on what other leftist say the right believes instead of actually investigating what the right really believes.

A few excerpts from the film's YMMV page.

They also have this as an awesome moment from the film.

So, an while back, Disney dropped an new cartoon that's based off some Mexicans and their weird sense of humor or something. But since we're living in Clown World, one of the VAs ruined everything by the spics about how they hate their American counterparts.

Turns out that some tropers really hate this brand of drama, along with some forms of dark humor.

The disambiguation thing is becoming outright absurd at this point, removing more and more old tropes without a suitable replacement. The one that really gets my goat this time is Boobs of Steel, which used to be about when a piece of media makes the more buxom women physically strong in comparison to women with smaller chests. In its place is just a few tropes relating to big boobs (Fanservice, the Buxom Beauty Standard, and the Most Common Superpower), but nothing close to the trope itself.

I've probably said it before but I'll say it again: TV Tropes' problem is that they have no balls. They don't stick to a specific glossary and when people outside bitch and whine, they take it as being pushed and fall back thinking "well we ought to change things". I remember TV Tropes used to have a bunch of tropes lifted and named from anime shit, and then when the TGWTG Crowd moved in they started to dismantle everything from that era to "ensure we please everyone who will come here". That idea really fucked over everything because the TGWTG crowd are a branch of the bunch of smug redditors, SA goons (edit, I forgot these fucks), and fart huffing militant atheists who are envious of anything that dares to get in the way of their hobby weightthrowing.

TV Tropes died a long time ago because they have no teeth (edit) AND have no balls, and they are self serving to whatever crowd happens to plague its servers.

Currently, there's an discussion on adding "diversity hire" to the ever-growing list of things that they can ban their users from the forums.

Oversharing that I found because they have an compulsive need to report random shit

Hermaphrodite vs intersex

And "people with wombs"

Honestly, you can say the same for nearly everything that was mainstream up until 6 years ago

Is it the "advertiser-friendly" thing again? Because if there's one thing TV Tropes worships above all else, it's the advertiser algorithm. Just ask Gus "Fast Eddie" Raley when he deleted a bunch of sex tropes and all the pages detailing perverted fantasies the userbase had.

As far as I can tell, that particular cleanup project is mainly for trimming the fat off of their more generic articles. It's mainly driven because there's literally not much of anything else going on, over there.

Except of course the people who actually created the site, those people can go fuck themselves. As annoying as the prevalence of anime memes from some obscure manga like 3 people ever read was, the general use of such tropes was always part of site culture.

and then when the TGWTG Crowd moved in
Back in its heyday TGWTG was easily the most overrepresented thing on the site. Sure, Doug and the rest had a big place on the internet and internet culture for a few years, but if you went to tvtropes back then it would make you think that TGWTG was the center of the internet when in reality it was never actually that big or important. And yet so many trope names and such came from it. Back then Yu-gi-oh Abridged was also absurdly overrepresented as well, and nowadays DBZ Abridged has taken that spot. Warhammer 40k too is also way more common than its popularity would suggest but it didn't have the same influence on site culture and trope names as TGWTG.

I remember some shitty book called "John Dies At The End" was put into every TVT article. Either some OCD editor stopped every three sentences to make an article edit, or it was coordinated by the writer and publisher.
Surprisingly no its not a troper written work, it's written by one of the writers from Cracked. It even got a movie

I've heard that TV Tropes was effectively forced to remove lot of the sex stuff because Google threatened to treat them like a porn site. I can't vouch for the veracity of said claim.

This is more or less what happened around an decade or so, people were mildly bitching about it because they were coomers. Oh, and it basically happened twice due to them getting raided by SA

The ones I remember most that got shoved into every article were random My Little Pony fanfics and some shit called "Whateley Universe", whatever that is. It had to have been just like 2-3 autists with too much time on their hands doing that. At least I hope.
The advertiser stuff was one of the reasons, but I'm pretty sure places like Troper Tales got removed for being a complete embarrassment to the site.
Killing off the creepy ones where they lust over Doug Walker and Spoony and the rest of Channel Awesome no doubt helped them get rid of the ones where tropers boasted about how dangerous and badass they were because they owned a knife collection and wore a trenchcoat and other weird shit like that.

Not just a writer from cracked - David Wong was like the editor-in-chief that really transformed it back in the heyday. (before he disappeared up his own ass)
It's really sad what happened to Cracked. It was sort of inspiring how they turned a second-rate Mad ripoff magazine into an addictive and often funny website, more or less invented clickbait (before that was automatically a bad thing), and then spiraled into woketardation. I think it's the first place I noticed woketardation destroying a site, but wrote it off as a freak event.

Now the cancer has metastasized everywhere. Maybe Cracked was Patient Zero.

Gloria's speech just goes further to prove that women's problems are other women and not men or the patriarchy.
Nothing too unusual for TVTopes autists. They'd never understand that there is no such thing as "getting tangled up" for women today, at least in the West. If anything women have it easier than the men, and not because they have to bear children for 9 months. It's because 99% of all men unironically love women, beauty and brains alike. I've noticed they also tend to go apeshit about fanservice tropes even though IRL women are just as dedicated to wearing skimpy outfits, sometimes even moreso than fictional depictions of women. Tons of them got reduced to "no examples" or whatever and it's SJW puritanism of the highest order. Like okay, not everybody enjoys fanservice, but some fanservice cliches are worth explaining because they're ingrained in the IRL society too.
