I really want to cutlist that page but it'll get me permabanned and I don't have a spare alt, so I won't do it. That being said, you can definitely piss the mod team off by spamming the shit out of the cutlist.

The hardest thing I had to do was try and complete the Bio-Weapon Cure Mode on Brutal. I barely made it and seven billion people died, but the damn thing burnt itself out... in 120 days. That is terrifyingly fast.

Yeah they're serious. TVT is really trying to push the idea that being attracted to big boobs is a quirky character trait and not something that every man on Earth is naturally into. Who wants to bet whoever wrote this is MtF?

TVT's ethos is that everything can be boiled down into a trope. They're not making a profound statement, they're just operating within their pre-defined rules

In an backwards way, they're actually right about this. Of course, it falls apart when they implied that writers are consciously aware of them and create their stories exclusively by using them. It's kind of funny how Rowling mentioned that she had to write 2 or 3 notebooks just to keep track of the various continuity issues instead of it being an massive flowchart of how tropes interact each other.

But it would be kind of hilarious if someone made an AI and fed it an shitload of TVT's content to see what kind of story it'll shit out.

Not only that, they bloated the site so much, they ended up fragmenting JUST ONE SINGLE TROPE into different sub-pages. Now, whenever I so much as glimpse into the site, I'm bogged down by 5 to 10 different pages just to find THE ONE SPECIFIC THING that I wish to see.

How much traffic do they get these days again?

Interesting. They're still in the top 2,000, but the global rate dropped 19 places since January. Although their bounce rate is pretty high.

Basically, 38% of people only see one page and fuck off. Does not surprise me.

I went to similarweb and did this months ago to see if it was such a massive win of a site, and I started comparing it to sites like, oh, fanfiction.net

The results were surprising. Even now, I compared it to AO3, and here's what I found.

They also like to lock certain pages forever because the drooling morons that do the editing can't help but add nonsense examples.

Most people do not take TVT seriously anymore, but this is the only place on the web where I can vent about it. Turns out the normals stopped caring about tropes in like 2018 and that's where a lot of the namedrops come from.
