Someone "edit-warring" with themself and was subsequently banned for using an alt. Turns out that he was using the second one out of convenience
Edit Warring is such a fucking ridiculous rule and situations like this highlight it.

Did someone fuck your entry and then not give a good reason why they did so? Don't you dare try and fix it, pleb or you'll be banned on the spot while the other guy doesn't even notice something's happened.

Also Wikipedia's problem (or hell, any wiki with enough Autism in the mod team) in general.

"Whoops! All of these posts are technically off-topic and should be in an separate forum, so we have no choice but to erase nearly an entire page's worth of posts!

And the plebs are busy being autistic over how to phrase " anti-semitism " because using it with an hyphen is somehow offemsive
Yeah there's no discussion about moderation on that site if they nuke an entire page once an actual conversation gets going. What an insane level of powertripping.

I'm reasonably sure that what's left of their current lineup is autistic, at this point. Or it's an excuse to avoid being forced to answer a certain combination of questions, since they've been evasive ever since Fighteer and another mod left

IHRA said:
The hyphenated spelling allows for the possibility of something called 'Semitism', which not only legitimizes a form of pseudo-scientific racial classification that was thoroughly discredited by association with Nazi ideology, but also divides the term, stripping it from its meaning of opposition and hatred toward Jews.
1. "Anti-" as a prefix is usually interpreted as presupposing an opposite*, hyphenated or not.
2. Isn't "Semitic" as a descriptor for Jewish and related middle eastern ethnicities still an accepted academic term?
3. That's retarded.

*Not saying that's a correct interpretation, but I'd wager its the one the average Joe uses

In this day and age, people are overanalyzing shit just so they can feel good about themselves while making everyone else miserable; which is why we should be using the hyphenated spelling because some rando hates it.

And the the mods admitted that they're being retarded so they've rescinded the warnings on the previous page. Turns out that they're too retarded to scroll past an wall of text.

What kind of autisplosion had claimed the Stock Dinosaurs page?
I had to find a copy of old one on one of the sites that rewrite Tvtrope pages whole. Because it was a tiny list back then, and is somebody's dinosaur autism, two pages of it, now.

It's just TVT recategorizing stuff as autists normally do, unfortunately

I keep bringing this up, but it really encapsulates the mindset of the site users nowadays.

You know, I think a huge problem I have with the YMMV page for The Matrix is that the tropers are treating the whole trans interpretation as the one and only true meaning of the film, rather than it just being one possible reading of it (the comments from The Wachowskis don't help either).

I especially love how they view the Agent characters in the film.

Heck, they even seem to come close to acknowledging that that reading is a bit of a stretch, only to double down on it (along with mocking those on the opposite side of the fence).

Also, a few gems from before Resurrections was released.

I think it's extremely funny that The Matrix's sole value to these people now is "validating" trans people. Because they unironically believe that lie that the Wachowskis wrote the whole thing as a trans allegory, even though they were both straight men at the time.

Also Agents are transphobes? Right wingers can't use the Matrix for memes? The film was clearly an allegory for government control of information and you have to actively be trying to misinterpret that.
