Anor Londo is quite literally a shell of its former self by the time 3 comes. Its no longer Gwyns golden city protected by the best of the best, it's an empty, crumbling castle with a literal God eating parasite devouring a tranny as your reward for getting through it.
 
Of course the Simpsons "Values Dissonance" page feels the need to dump on the poor, unenlightened hicks of yesteryear.

If anything, this is more relevant today than it ever was, considering that the majority of the population's historical knowledge doesn't extend beyond 4th grade and whatever hot take they saw on Twitter this week.
 
I was going to read through the 640 pages of this thread, but I got stopped a quarter of the way through page 1, so I figured I'd ask here. Does TV Tropes actually acknowledge the "wise black janitor" or just how every super smart scientist is anything but a white dude? What about Yass Queen Girl Boss, is that a listed trope since we see it in everything? Bad ass 110lb girl kicks every dudes ass, etc...

I tried to look on there once, but had to take a shit and forgot to check back.

One word explanations of the causes of historical events that show that you are perfectly aligned to societal expectations, the hallmark of a sensible person. If that troper had been born in another country 100 years ago, he would also have happily accepted "just say jews" as the cause of Germany's decline, and "just say capitalism" as explanation for why there is no bread this week in Leningrad.

It was always woke, it's just escalated lately. I feel like TVT is going to disintegrate in the near future because it's becoming impossible to discuss any media with non-liberal ideals or anything older than 2014. This thread's going to prove a great case study on how woke bullshit kills a community by chasing off anyone with a shred of creativity.

And that's not even getting into how the trannies have taken over.

Look at the Simpsons reference above. They can understand the joke of the foreigner knowing more about American history and how dumbed down education is in the U.S. but still need to fall over themselves to defend the woke view of the American Civil War which negates the whole joke. You cannot have a real, legit, look at media and all the cliches you can find if your mind is poisioned and infused with dumb politics, and cannot look at a trope, cliche, or joke objectively without injecting political garbage into it. Autism is already a major strike against comedy and writing but woke politics are the death blow because they just kill creativity entirely.
 
Nothing out of the ordinary here, I just found calling Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy characters "harmful stereotypes of children" to be amusingly stupid. If you knew anyone that ever acted like Jonny 2X4 or Rolf in your childhood, I'd like to know. Definitely written by someone who's gayer than Jimmy.

We actually bullied that girl so hard that she wrote letters to half the class on how horrific that we are. I kind of skimmed through mines because I wasn't entirely involved with it; but let's just say that she really believed some of the lies that were getting passed around.

Fittingly enough, the only openly gay kid that I've seen was an laughingstock... For holding up the algebra class.
