I know about that. But I thought that site was for the porn tropes Fast Eddie nuked in an earlier purge. The Tropers Tales thing was a separate community and a separate purging.

It's hard to keep track of this shit when Fast Eddie ran his fiefdom like his title was "General Secretary."

All The Tropes is a "censorship free" version of the present day TV Tropes.

They did keep the adult work pages (after scrubbing some of the worst offenders that were clearly written with one hand) and the porn tropes and whatever Google forced censorship of, but they do have clear limits:

Fetish Fuel: They decided it was off mission, creepy as fuck, and it had it's own wiki.

Troper Tales: They had them very briefly in the beginning, mostly because one of their admins (Brent Laabs) was going to see how hard it would be to sanitize them, but he soon gave that up as a lost cause and everyone else thought they needed nuked from orbit for being magnets for sick fucks anyway, so they burned them and never looked back. Geth got bitched at by some idiots on the Wikia fork but got the Wikia Staff on his side to make it stick (mostly by showing them why they were disgusting and he thought they were bad news for Wikia to keep around).

Unpublished Works: Allowed in a limited way: You can keep your brain droppings in your userspace, but unlike the piles of decaying crap TV Tropes has an entire namespace for, they refuse to keep them lying around as if they are actual content.

Okaaaay... I mean I can see having as low as maybe sixteen, maybe, but even that's pushing it.

if you're mature enough to want sex, you're mature enough to give informed consent.

I've met fucking nine year olds who say they want sex (I would assume not out of any sort of libido, but because it's seen as a cool, adult thing). That doesn't mean they understand it or are in any way ready for it.

All you need to give informed consent is the ability to tell the difference between a good decision and a bad decision.

Have you ever even been 15? Those little fuckers are champions of decision making. That's why no one ever regrets the stupid shit they did in highschool.

If a 14-year-old is old enough to know that she wants to have sex with a 16-year-old, she is old enough to know she wants to have sex with anybody at all.

I mean yeah, she might want to. When I was fourteen I wanted a lot of things that were bad for me. That's why teenagers don't have the same rights as adults.

I think it's best to have such laws, how many younger folks have sex because of peer pressure, when they didn't really want it until they started being pressured about it?

Not the government's job to stop this.

I think another reason they exist is to prevent much older people taking advantage of younger people's curiosity around sex. Which is why a lot of places has laws about the age of partners (Or they don't prosecute if someone underage has sex with someone just over age. There's a huge power difference between a 14 and 16 year old having sex, and a 14 and 36 year old.)

IS the government's job to stop this, which is why it is (or should be) covered under normal rape. Not all 36 year olds hold enough power over all 14 year olds to make all sex between all 36 year olds and all 14 year olds automatically rape. I would say it's never a good decision to fuck a 36 year old when you're 14, but again, the government should not be in the business of outlawing bad decisions; the government should only be in the business of ensuring there is a decision at all.

To be fair, the example only calls it "unnerving" rather than "nightmare inducing." It's more a problem with having a single trope that covers everything from vaguely creepy stuff to truly nightmarish imagery, thanks to whatever genius decided it'd be a good idea to have two separate tropes that cover different levels of scariness, and then give them virtually identical names.
