It seems Gabe Navarro isn't the only ex-TV Tropes member thrown out for being too much an autist even for them that Geth has had to deal with, as this recent blog post by GethN7 is about another former troper with a hateboner for the site who recently sent him batshit crazy death threats accusing him of ruining the site and screaming shit about murdering him in all caps:

Spidgewood is not just autistic but Mylarballoonfan-tier retarded.

Yeah, I read about Spidgewood before. I believe Geth that this guy was cappable to doxing himself. Because man, the way he talks makes me question his mental age.

FastEddie mostly wanted an asspatting cult and money. The new owner is a lot better, mostly because he doesn't demand a cult. He still wants to make money, but he's not the massive jackass Eddie was about it. Both have largely the same teams in place to run things though, so it's still a clusterfuck, just one where a whining manbaby who can take no criticism whatsoever is no longer in charge.
Man, I've really been out of the loop. Fast Eddie got replaced as owner of TV Tropes? When did that happen? What's the new owner like?

Slightly better. Slightly.

Specifically, his name is Drew Schoentrup. He's a lawyer who used to work for a media company.

He still has done hardly anything to fix the underlying issues that make TV Tropes a haven for autists, but he doesn't demand a cult around himself and mostly stays in the background.

Not too good. His personality is not as bad as Eddie's, but I'd say he runs the site even more sloppily, if that's possible. He only drops by every fifteen days or so, hasn't really fixed anything at all, and takes his sweet time to fix bugs and layout issues. To this day, the TVT front page has a "welcome to the new design" announcement, although the design is now months old.

Before disappearing, Eddie said he would probably be around secretly, under another username. I sometimes wonder what name he's going by now. Any troper could be him.

The "Cool Cat Saves The Kids" page has the "ambigous brown" page for Maria.
because somehow you can't tell she's hispanic just by the name, how she looks and the fact she lives in California where there are alot of hispanics
Ambiguously Brown: Cool Cat's friend Maria could be African-American but it's kinda hard to tell. Given the name, she's most likely Hispanic.

"Could be African American"

TV Tropes writers need to know where their priorities should be. They've got a couple of pages dedicated to a goddamn tumblr user. A tumblr user who's webcomic hasn't even started yet, and yet still has filled out descriptions for their characters and settings.
The tropes are great to look at and browse through, but it'd be better if they were applied to material with a bit more class. The fucking ocean of subpages the MLP article has says enough.

If I had a nickel every time that trope was abused...

What? Who?

This is the result of the split, irreconcilable personalities of TVT: on one hand it pretends to be an objective collection of fictional trivia; on the other -- because "there is no such thing as notability" -- it serves as a vanity project for narcissistic manchildren.

This vanity aspect, as I understand, also sparked the feud between Nate Spidgewood and TVT: Spidgewood is salty because TVT buried his vanity project (a self-insert fanfic) under another namespace.

It's a fun game to try to find any major trope that doesn't have MLP all over the Western Animation section.
