Yeah, I remember that first ban. I still thought it was dumb, though I suspect the real reason for the ban was that I insulted a user when confronted about the reasoning behind my edits.

Regarding my most recent edits, they both had to do with Star Trek: The Next Generation (got curious about the series and started watching Season 1 a few days before the edits). The first edit I made regarded the YMMV page for the Season 1 episode "Datalore" with the Applicability trope discussing how it could apply to non-binary people or some such rot. Data and Lore being robots has nothing to do with being non-binary...that and both are clearly male, so the argument defeats itself.

The other was on the main YMMV page for the show; the Values Resonance entry had a sub-example listing how it shouldn't be weird to treat trans people differently...because you can briefly see what are clearly men walking around in female uniforms in the first episode. My personal reasoning was that TNG possibly had a smaller budget starting out on the pilot and they had to put the female uniform on some male extras simply because they didn't have enough male ensign uniforms to go around, so someone had to have been REALLY stretching to make that argument. The part about my complaints on current year politics was venting in frustration.

And yet they call me the one with the agenda. Hypocrites, the lot of them. Needless to say, I was expecting a ban after a little bit of time, and lo and behold...

It's a mentality I like to call "It's okay when we do it". And it's plaguing all sides of the political climate. But that's something for another topic.

I got reprimanded a lot for removing a lot of the really gross sexual shit about Channel Awesome (it got serial killer level bad, it was nasty)

Imagine a catalog of videos Linkara showed body parts in. (i.e. "in episode #xxx there is a brief glimpse of Lewis' bare feet.")

On another note, Fighteer has gotten pissed with me and is threatening to deep-six my account for "hate speech". These people just LOVE to think only in extremes. :lol:

Still, a pity. I kinda liked reading on the site and even doing some minor edits.

Edit: Yup, Fighteer decided to not listen to my second appeal and banned me from all features of the site. All because I wrote something they interpreted as "hate speech". I'm starting to see why everyone considers him to be a world-class paranoid jackass.

Pretty much. I tried to make the last message count by saying it was pretty extreme to ban me over that and was trying to explain myself...bur evidently, this guy has a very "ZERO TOLERANCE" outlook on just simple slights. The supposed "hate speech" wasn't even that strong; NerdShamer's post detailing my antics shows exactly what I said above (and it's surreal how my edit actually got some notoriety by you guys; I'll call that a mark of honor and move on).

I don't know what this guy's problem is, but he decided to butt in when I was talking to Willbyr and immediately went straight to administering the ban while smugly saying if I had any last words. Someone on here who still has a working account there can see what went on, because I can't anymore.

At least two of their mods are trannies (or have been around them.) Two of the team lives in Europe (one being a tranny in the UK, the one who banned is in Switzerland), and the site is infested by leftists who hate political criticism; so you don't really have a lot of ground to stand on. And free speech doesn't exists on the internet.

But go ahead and visit your local library to contact them, I'm sure that they'll be willing to understand.
