It was said many times in "The Sub-Board That Shalt Not Be Named", but hardcore Spongebob fans are incredibly autistic.
 
They actually had to lock most of the Adventure Time pages for a while because of some creep sperging non-stop about Lemongrab. True story. (They still haven't cleaned all of it up if you want to see for yourself)

The more one looks at the cartoon and the people around it, the more one sees that it may as well just be man-children complaining about a kids show. In the words of some Kiwi's, who gives a shit? It's a kids show.

Older version of flash? I have no knowledge of the program but wouldn't that older version be outdated in comparison to newer ones that could no doubt have better features and such? Really though, it is just spergs sperging over a form of animation that can fall short to other forms of animation.

That's what I thought when i first saw that entry. Then I asked myself "Why is MLP even on this entry anyway?"

One can guess that it has to do with flash animation as art. Don't know if that counts but in all honesty as some have said, you have better forms of flash animation, be it from some cartoon that actually is on TV or from say a YouTube channel such as Harry Partridge. The TV Tropes community should just admit to sperging over whatever biases they have such as sperging over in love over a pastel horse show or sperging in rage over some cartoon based off a comic book that actually managed to appeal to kids and not their man-child feelings.

Homestar Runner is better flash animation than MLP, and that was made by two guys total - and on a pretty old, outdated version of Flash too...

They're not going to admit their biases, because, let's face it, you need self-awareness to do that. Maybe 10% of tropers have that.

With that established, Homestar using outdated version of Flash and there being only 10% of self-awareness, the troper community of TV Tropes wouldn't have to sperg for an indefinite amount of time before being self-aware of their biases towards kids shows they love and hate. Then again, they may as well have these biases because some of them would refuse to see a show like MLP, TTG, and other cartoons for kids as kids shows.

That's the thing though. As others have put it, Tropers aren't self-aware enough to notice this. That's why there's a big TTG hatedom, or why shows like MLP have god knows how many pages/sub-tropes.
 
Because of this site whenever somebody says the phrase "mean-spirited" unironically I feel the need to punch them in the face. Mean-spiritedly.

I'm amazed how something can be started as a prank, never once be conducted in secret, and yet spread to the point where people think it's real.

At least people took a minuscule amount of effort in hiding that Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster were hoaxes. You could still prove they were hoaxes with even a minimal level of critical thinking exercised regardless of what was kept secret, but this is like the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster gaining followers who aren't in on the joke.
