I've found a perfect example of that thing I was talking about with pages being cut. I stumbled on a thread last night, and I noticed that some pages I was following had the "getting crap past the radar" section cut. I did some digging and apparently that trope is under cleanup and has a designated thread for it, which is not being advertised, almost like it's a secret. For the last however many pages, this VampireBuddha character, one guy, has been deciding what to cut and "discussing" it with a couple other people. That's what wrong with this fucking website, it has the illusion of democracy: One user, either a mod or someone backed by the mods, wants to cut something or have it heavily rewritten, debates the issue with a whopping two people who tend to agree with them, and then goes ahead and deletes the page. Then if you say anything about it after the fact, you get chewed out for bringing up old shit. It's like a political simulator, small cabals making big descisions.

Frankly, I'm surprised they even still have that trope since TVT is so puritan now. Although going by the logic on display there, sex jokes and innuendo are A-okay as long as it's a PG movie, which is a very creepy mentality.
 
With the way they seem of late I'm surprised they didn't just rename it to "getting trans past the censor"

Yeah, this is one of those "cliques" that the mods publicly hate and barely do anything about. The biggest thing that happened was them shutting down and restarting the Complete Monster thread.

And the Inquisition is back from their break because someone pointed out that site had turned into an echo chamber

it's been brought to attention that many OTC threads have amassed sharply critical, suspicious, and politically-charged attitudes when discussing their relevant topics. This often results in mudslinging and arguments with people (especially move Conservative folks) who don't align with thread consensus, both in the thread and out.

OP is surprisingly perceptive for a troper. And I can already predict that after years of self-selection and banning anyone right of Jeb Bush, the TVT community will see no problem in this.

I actually like Xiaolin Showdown and the first thing that comes to mind is the fact that I’m questioning what does any of this have to do with young training ninjas studying the art of kung-fu.

Sounds like a true believer, I bet there's no way to confront him on the matter that doesn't bring you into conflict with the mods and whatever other snowflakes are backing his insanity. That reminds me of that thread where they're trying to purge all reference to sex and sexual attraction, except tranny shit of course.

To please Google AdSense? Nah, that happened ten years ago. It must be to sanitize every aspect and make the wiki look as Family Friendly™ as possible.

I wonder what Eddie still thinks of the site, if he thinks of it at all. He did get five million dollars out of it...
